Objective:This study, based on discharge guidance provided for postoperative comatose patients with cerebral hemorrhage, was aimed to supply a theoretical basis for founding the follow-up nursing intervention project, in order to improve life quality of the patients and successfully get through the transition period from hospital service to family rehabilitation.Method:79 cases who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The former was given systematic follow-up designed by this study while the latter was provided routine discharge teaching, passive visit guidance by telephone and network. Statistical difference between two groups was evaluated according to the comparison survival quality of the patients, the satisfaction of family members and the number of cases of complications. Results:For postoperative comatose patients with cerebral hemorrhage, follow-up intervention outside hospital designed in this research can significantly improve following aspects: Recovering from the unconsciousness(P=0.011), pulmonary infection(P=0.021), urinary injection(P=0.000), electrolyte’s turbulence(P=0.000), pressure sore(P=0.000), rate of inserting PICC(P=0.018), infection rate of PICC(P=0.000), unintentional fall(P=0.061), and skin/mucous(cornea) ulcer(P=0.000). The satisfaction of the patients and family members can be significantly improved(P=0.005). There is on clinical significant significance for closing up tracheotomy(P=0.087), and hydrocephalus(P=0.102),re-bleeding(P=0.078)stress ulcer(P=0.061) and avoiding epilepsy(P=0.074).Conclusion:Follow-up intervention outside hospital is worth being popularizd clinically on account of improved condition of postoperative comatose patients with cerebral hemorrhage, significantly elevated nursing effect, remarkably reduced incidence of complications, and the increasing satisfaction of the patients and family members.
