Objective Discussion the relationship and mechanism between two treatmentschemes (schemes one: breast-conserving surgery、 chemotherapy andradiotherapy; schemes two: modified radical mastectomy and chemotherapy)and living quality of breast cancer patients, provide the theoretical basisfor improveing the quality life of breast cancer patients, at the same time, provide reference for Clinicians selecting a appropriate treatment plan. Methods Select the breast cancer patients of inpatient and outpatientreexamination as the case group, the female gastric cancer patients ascontrol group according to the cultural level, economic level, severity ofillness and other similar principles. They come from Jiangxi Province TumorHospital. The investigation objects were the postoperative patients forbreast cancer and gastric cancer. They were female, age35-70, pathologicstage I and II, no distant metastasis, willing to participate in the survey.Survey the patients taken the way of patients to hospital where a face-to-face survey. we understand the demographic characteristics of patients using Questionnaire" of breast cancer patients, measure anxiety anddepression by anxiety scale, measure individual perceived family frominternal and external support degree by the" perceived social support scale",and measure quality of life of the patients using breast cancer patientsquality of life scale for FACT-B (Ver4.0). The Questionnaires wereestablished by EpiData database, checked by Double entry.analys generaldescription and impact factors about quality of life and the relationshipquality of life and different treatment schemes by SPSS11.0analysissoftware.Results By the survey, sent out291questionnaires, recovered279questionnaires and273efficiency questionnaires. Recovery and efficiencyrate were95.88%and93.81%. Women with breast cancer patients were191cases, in which the breast-conserving surgery、chemotherapy and radiotherapygroup was87cases, modified radical mastectomy and chemotherapy group was104cases. The control group was82cases for female patients with gastriccancer. The dependent variables were patient’s physiological condition, emotional status, social and family status, functional status, additionalentries and total scores of quality of life. The explanatory variableswere age, marital status, educational level, family economic condition, medical insurance, pathological staging, social support, psychologicalfactors and the different treatment options. Analysis results indicate:total scores of quality of life (102.71±7.38) with breast-conservingsurgery、 chemotherapy and radiotherapy group was higher than that ofmodified radical mastectomy and chemotherapy group (82.16±9.25).physiological status (20.23±1.27), emotional status (18.49±2.10),society and family status (20.97±1.27), functional status (20.31±2.11)and additional attention to (22.71±2.59) with conservative surgery plusgroup was higher than those of modified radical mastectomy and chemotherapygroup, physiological status (16.81±2.85), emotional status (13.93±2.89), social and family status (17.11±1.87), functional status (14.71±2.21)and additional attention to (19.61±1.91), and there was statisticalsignificance (P <0.05). Two treatment options for patients with breastcancer in total scores of quality of life and emotional status, physiological status, social and family status, functional status andadditional attention dimension scores were higher than the control group ofpatients with gastric cancer. The total scores of quality of life and otherscores of breast-conserving surgery group were higher than modified radicalmastectomy group(P<0.05).Conclusion There were distinct effection in term of improving the qualityof life of patients with breast cancer of treatment options. Effection werestronger in the breast-conserving surgery、 chemotherapy than radiotherapymodified radical mastectomy and chemotherapy. Therefore, it is recommendedthat the clinician choose breast-conserving surgery、 chemotherapy thanradiotherapy plan, in order to improve the quality of life with breastcancer patients.
