Heart valve disease causes any dysfunction or abnormality of one or more of the heart’s valves due to inflammation, degenerative changes, mucous degeneration, congenital malformation, avascular necrosis, trauma and other reasons, which may lead to aortic stenosis and(or) closed. Heart valve replacement is an effective method to treat the heart valve disease. After heart valve replacement, through rehabilitation trainings, patients can increase strength, improve the exercise endurance, postoperative capacity, coronary blood flow, restore cardiac function, quality of life, so it is beneficial to the recovery of patients at an early date. Abroad, patients after heart valve replacement can conduct systemic rehabilitation training under the guidance of heart specialists, psychological doctors and nurses in cardiac rehabilitation center of rehabilitation therapists. According to the domestic literatures, the early rehabilitation of patients with heart valve replacement is conducted in cardiac surgery department, mainly based on the time after surgery and the rehabilitation methods based on motion types and intensity are less. Objective: The rehabilitation methods are applied to the early rehabilitation of patients after the heart valve replacement so as to verify the practicability and effectiveness of the method. it aims to find a simple, easy and safe and effective way to promote the early rehabilitation of patients after heart valve replacement and provide the clinical basis for the future the early rehabilitation of patients with heart valve replacement. Methods: Objects of the study are selected from the patients with heart valve replacement operation from December 2013 to January 2015 in the department of cardiac surgery of a hospital. There are a total of 80 cases whose ages are from 50 to 65 years old and there is no serious postoperative arrhythmia after the operation. The patients are divided into the experimental group and control group. Experimental group patients employ periodic postoperative rehabilitation training: active power training, aerobic exercise training phase and muscle group phase, while the control group is treated by the routine postoperative rehabilitation. Measurement tools include: consciously fatigue scale(RPE), the world health organization quality of life measurement scale short form(WHOQOL BREF), and 6 min walk test(6 WMT). Berger(Borg) scale is from level 6 to level 20. When the rating of perceived exertion of the patients reaches to grade 12-16, the patients achieve the cardiovascular training effect; WHOQOL BREF- scale is used to assess the survival quality of patients of two groups before the of rehabilitation training and at the end of the rehabilitation upon discharge assessment. The scale assesses the patients from 4 aspects including physiology, psychology, social relations, and environmental field; 6 min walking test is applied to two groups in the first rehabilitation training along the corridor and the last rehabilitation upon discharge. The measurement data are analyzed by the statistical software SPSS19.0.Results:1 The comparison of age and sex between two groups is statistically indistinguishable(P>0.05)2 The comparison of survival quality of experiment group and control group after 2 hours withdrawal from the ventilator is statistically indistinguishable(P>0.05)3 The survival quality of the experimental group is much better than that of control group after the rehabilitation on discharge and the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).4 The difference of 6 min walking distance of rehabilitation between two groups at the beginning of the waling along the corridor is is statistically indistinguishable(P>0.05)5 The walking distance of the experimental group is much better than that of control group after the rehabilitation of 6 min walking test on discharge and the difference is statistically significant.(P < 0.05) 6 min walking distance is influenced by gender and ageConclusion: Early periodic rehabilitation training after heart valve replacement can improve the quality of survival and promote the recovery of the heart functions as well as the rapid postoperative recovery of the patients. So the rehabilitation training is effective and practical.
