Studies On The Instant Effect Of "TongQiXiangQiu" Therapy Treating Neck Pain Of Cervical Spondylopathy By Acupuncture Xuanzhong Point Of Healthy Side

Objective:To explore the instant effect of "TongQiXiangQiu"therapy treating neck pain of cervical spondylopathy by acupuncture Xuanzhong point of healthy side, then providing clinical evidence for "TongQiXiangQiu" therapy.Methods:70 patients complied with relevant standards were divided into the trial group and control group according to the visit orders,35 in each. The tial group was treated with needling Xuanzhong point by healthy side, the control group was treated with Jiaji point by both sides. Both groups were treated for 30 minutes. VAS (Visual Analog Scale)and NDI (Neck Disability Index)were the two courses to evaluate the curative effect of the different treatments at the end of the therapy, compared the consumption of the treatment as well. Finally, the data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 software to contrast the difference of the two therapies by different syndrome differentiation method.Results:(1) Compared trial group with control group (Table2-4), the difference of curative effect was statistically significant (P<0.05),showing that both therapies were much the same.(2)Compared before-treatment with after-treatment of the two groups by VAS after the treatments (Table2-5), the difference was significant, what showing both therapies could alleviate the neck pain. (3) Compared before-treatment with after-treatment of the two groups by NDI after the treatments (Table2-6, Table2-7), the difference was significant except "headache"factor, which telling both therapies could promote the ability of neck to a great degree from the whole, and trial group had better effect on the headache of shaoyang channel. (4) Compared trial group with control group by VAS (Table2-5),there was no statistically significant, so both two therapies could alleviate the pain symptom.(5) Compared trial group with control group by NDI (Table2-6, Table2-7), there was statistically significant of the difference, what testify that both the therapies could improve the function of neck.(6)Based on the considerable curative effect, acupuncture the healthy sides’ Xuanzhong point according to syndrome differentiation only used 2 needles in the therapy while 4 to 8 needles were needed in needling Jiaji points of corresponding part, what had made statistically significant. Therefore, using syndrome differentiation method to acupuncture Xuanzhong point of the healthy side to treat the unilateral neck pain is more resource friendly.Conclusion:Acupuncture Xuanzhong point by healthy side that using "TongQiXiangQiu" therapy can alleviate unilateral neck pain well, and it is more reasource friendly and safer than needling Jiaji points of corresponding part by under the condition of same curative effect.
