Part 1 Clinical analysis of 42 patients of Japanese encephalitisObjective: Collect clinical data of 42 cases of Japanese encephalitis patients were analyzed epidemiological characteristics and clinical data to it, to understand the clinical features. Methods: Collect Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College in July 2013- the clinical data in September 2014 JE patients admitted its inductive analysis. Diagnostic criteria selected cases are in line with the eighth edition of "infectious diseases" textbook. Clinical data using statistical methods, experimental data with mean, quartiles and percentages(%) indicated. Results: 1.42 cases of children, 23 males and 19 females, male: female = 1.21: 1; children aged 3 months minimum, maximum age is 11 years old. 7-8 onset concentrated in two months. All patients were from rural areas, most are not JE vaccination. 2. Adoption of the comprehensive treatment, 26 cases were cured, improved in 16 cases.3.cases transferred and 0 deaths. Conclusions: 1.North Sichuan area with strict seasonal incidence of Japanese encephalitis, mainly in July and August, mainly children from 2 to 10 years old.2.The patients are also suspected of cerebrospinal fluid and serum JE virus Ig M antibody tests can help improve the diagnosis rate. Part 2 Myelin basic protein in cerebrospinal fluid and serum of patients with Japanese encephalitisObjective: It detected 22 cases of Japanese encephalitis patients pole serum and CSF myelin basic protein(MBP) content changes and dynamic observation of serum MBP and to explore its clinical significance. Methods: Select July 2014- September 2014 in the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College confirmed Japanese encephalitis, 22 cases were collected its extreme levels of serum and cerebrospinal fluid and convalescent serum.Double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA) was measured in serum and CSF MBP levels. Control group, serum and cerebrospinal fluid to exclude children with 10 cases from the same period of central nervous system diseases hospital. Data are expressed as mean ± standard deviation, the two groups were compared using t test, before and after treatment were compared using paired t test. After statistical software SPSS 13.0 processing to P <0.05 was considered statistically significant, P> 0.05 is not statistically significant. Results: 1. Patient serum and CSF MBP in the very period were compared with the control group, serum and CSF MBP content were significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant. 2. Patient convalescent serum MBP content than the very period decreased significantly, compared to the two, the difference was statistically significant. But convalescent serum MBP content compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant. 3. Heavy serum and CSF MBP content than ordinary serum and CSF MBP content, two were compared, the differences were statistically significant. Conclusions: 1.Japanese encephalitis patients pole MBP serum and cerebrospinal fluid were significantly increased. 2. epidemic encephalitis serum and CSF MBP high and low levels correlated with disease severity. 3. Dynamic observe the changes of serum MBP content helps determine JE disease patients.
