Clincal Observation Of "The Eight Special Skills Of Chiropractics" Anainst The Qi Deficiency Of Spleen And Stomach Type Of Infantile Anorexia

Objection:To explore and study the curative effect of "The eight special skills of chiropractics(TESSOC)" against the infantile anorexia from the Chinese Tradition Medicine theory about massage, main and collateral channels and, so that the effective treatment system of it could be summarized to cure the infantile anorexia.Methods:According to the method of randomized grouping, finally met the study of infantile anorexia patients required 60 cases, treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The patients of treatment group were treated by TESSOC,1 times a day,5 times a week,otherwise the patients of treatment group were given Jianweixiaoshi Tablets (Jiang Zhong Pharmaceuticals Company),3 times a day,2 tablets each time,both in 30 days.The treatment effects were summarized and analysed after one courses of treatment. The body weight of patients, hemoglobin, urine amylase and symptom score were evaluated before and after the treatment. Based on the data of the two groups collected, SPSS 18.0 statistical analysis software was used to analyse the data. The clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared according to the results.Results:The observation shoed that the two methods of treatment both could significantly improve the patient’s symptoms (P＜0.05):23 cases were effective,7 cases were ineffective, the total efficiency was 76.67% in the treatment group; 19 cases were effective,11 cases were ineffective, the total efficiency was 63.33% in the control group. The decreased scores of symptom score and the total efficiency was 63.33% in the control group. The decreased scores about symptom score and the total curative effective percentage had no significant difference (P>0.05). Otherwise,the effect of treatment group in the increased body weight, hemoglobin and urine amylase were better than the control group after treatment with significant difference (P< 0.05), showed the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:The curative effect of "The eight special skills of chiroparctics(TESSOC)" was better than Jianweixiaoshi tablets against the Qi deficiency of spleen and stomach type of infantile anorexia in total.
