Study On Effects Of Health Education On Foot And Mouth Disease Among Kindergarten In Tongling City

Objective Through comprehensive survey foot and mouth disease(HFMD) prevention and control present situation among kindergarten in Tongling city, develop targeted health education materials, establishing health education model to prevent HFMD in kindergarten,and evaluate the effect of intervention, summarize the experiences of kindergarten to prevent HFMD intervention model, and Promote it.Methods Research design based on kindergarten to prevent HFMD epidemiology study health education effect evaluation, kindergartener as the research population, fully assessed HFMD health education needs of target populations. Through the simulation training as the main form of health education activities to intervene of prevented HFMD awareness, sterilizing and targeted, such as washing hands properly. By comparing before and after intervention in the intervention group intervention targeted prevention awareness, hand washing, HFMD related knowledge, such as "84" disinfectant dispensing accuracy index changes, and compared with the control of various indicators, to evaluate the effect of health education.Results After intervention, the correct response rates of concentration of 84 disinfectant solution, school-closing criterion for HFMD cluster, and HFMD-related basic; knowledge significantly increased(P<0.05). After intervention, rates of accurately prepared the standard solution of 84 disinfectant solutions, proper hand washing in teachers and children in the intervention group increased from 55.0%,75.0%and 35.0% to 95.0%,100.0% and 95.0%, respectively. All these indices differed statistically between intervention and control group after intervention. According to the study population HFMD prevention knowledge, health education needs of the evaluation results, as well as the health problems of disinfection, compiled “The Tongling city kindergarten HFMD prevention and treatment of infectious diseases manual”, developed a "84" disinfectant preparation method and the appliance, printing the "six step washing" crayon, posters and other promotional material.Conclusions The HFMD health education mode that set up the health in infectious disease prevention and control is of great significance in the disinfection and the correct hand washing as the key link of training, simulation training as the main means of intervention is feasible and effective; Method and apparatus of developing custom "84" disinfectant compound effectively solves the problem disinfectant preparation that kindergartens were widespread, repeated training of problems still exist; Health education model in this study can be popularized to the childcare facilities and school infectious diseases prevention and control.
