Clinical Research Of The Effects On Calculation And Number Processing In Stroke Patients With Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture

Objective:Through the comparison of Dredging governor vessel and regulating mind acupuncture therapy and conventional puzzle drug therapy on the recovery of patients after stroke with calculation and number processing capacity, provides statistical evidence for the clinical use of different treatment options.Methods:80 cases of patients were from the acupuncture clinic and the inpatient department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine dating from July 2013 to December 2014, met the standards of diagnosis and inclusion and had signed the Acknowledgment and Agreement.Technique of random single-blind and comparing design was applied in the research and 80 cases were divided into treatment group(40 cases) and the control group(40 cases).The treatment group performed conventional medical treatment and Dredging governor vessel and regulating mind acupuncture therapy, took the acupoints like Shuigou Fengfu Dazhui Shangxing Baihui Yamen, Jinsuo Mingmen Yaoyangguan Hua Tuo Jia Ji points;and at the same time the control group received conventional medical treatment and conventional puzzle drugs(Oxiracetam).EC301 calculation and number processing battery, Number processing and calculation battery,Mini Mental State Examination and Activities of Daily Living tests were used to evaluate the curative effect and statistical analysis before and after the treatment.Results:(1) The scores on EC301 and NPC battery of the two groups after the treatment were significantly higher than the corresponding group before treatment(P<01.0),with statistical significance; At the same time,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<05.0),with statistical significance.(2) The scores on MMSE and ADL battery of the two groups after the treatment were higher than the corresponding group before treatment(P<05.0), withsignificantly difference;At the same time,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<05.0),with statistical significance.Conclusion:(1) Dredging governor vessel and regulating mind acupuncture can improve the recovery of calculation and number processing capacity in stroke patients and has a very positive meaning for the promotion of the rehabilitation of stroke patients.(2) Dredging governor vessel and regulating mind acupuncture therapy can significantly improve the recovery of calculation and number processing capacity in stroke patients,which are better than conventional puzzle drug therapy.At the same time it can improve the quality of daily life and improve the mental state in stroke patient.(3) Dredging governor vessel and regulating mind acupuncture therapy has significant clinical efficacy of stroke patients on calculation and number processing capacity.It shows that governor meridian is a feasible therapy and method on the treatment of acalculia after stoke.
