Lumbar spondylolisthesis was mainly due to bilateral spondylolysis, spondylolysis, chronic dislocation between the vertebraes, which causes symptoms of chronic low back pain. The disease is more common in middle-aged women, male to female ratio is 1:5,4th and 5th lumbar spondylolisthesis is the most common. With the changes of modern lifestyles, more and more patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis, and the incidence of the disease at a younger age trend, which seriously affecting people’s daily life and work, it has a very important clinical significance to strengthen the clinical research on lumbar spondylolisthesis and find an effective treatment.ObjectiveThrough the standardized research, clinical observation and objective comparison of the data between Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment and normal lumbar traction therapy to provide the scientific data for the application of the Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment, to clear the treatment characteristics and the norm of operation of Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment so as to provide a new method for the clinical treatment of lumbar spondylolisthesis.Methods60 cases of lumbar spondylolisthesis were randomly divided into two groups of 30 people. The treatment group used Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment, the control group were treated with normal lumbar traction therapy, comparing the clinical efficacy between two groups after a course of treatment (treatment five times a week, two weeks for a course of treatment) and after 3 months of treatment (long-term).60 patients were used the modified Japanese Orthopaedic Association score sheet with low back pain (JOA), visual analog pain score table (VAS) score and diagnostic criteria to evaluate the efficacy of Chinese medicine disease classification before treatment, after a course of treatment and after 3 months’treatment, Finally, use the statistical tests to evaluate and analysis comprehensively whether the clinical efficacy statistically significant or not.Results(1) 60 patients met the inclusion criteria and 60 cases actually completed. After a course of treatment,30 cases in the treatment group,17 cases were cured,8 cases were markedly effective,3 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 93.33%; 30 cases in the control group, 10 cases were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective, 7 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 76.67%. The therapeutic efficacy of treatment group was significant through the statistical chi-square test. (2) these two methods of treatment of lumbar spondylolisthesis in improving clinical symptoms and relieving pain before and after treatment within the group, differences were statistically significant in JOA scores and VAS scores (P<0.01), The long-term therapeutic efficacy of treatment group was better than control group. (3) The follow-up three month later after the end of treatment, the statistical comparisons in VAS scores and JOA scores (P<0.05) illustrated the long-term therapeutic efficacy of Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment group was better than normal lumbar traction treatment group in improving clinical symptoms.ConclusionThis study used scientific, objective and rigorous clinical data to evaluate clinical curative effec of Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment, which made the results more reliable. Therefore, the Long’s bonesetting lumbar traction treatment is worth promoting in clinical practice.
