ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of psoriasis vulgaris patients with the treatment of LiangXueHuoXue Chinese herbal compound. By comparison and statistical analysis before and after treatment, we can detect the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine and provide solid clinical trial data for the promotion and application of traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsThis study is a randomized controlled study, select 50 patients from psoriasis vulgaris patients who get treatment from the dermatology clinic of First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. These patients must met the inclusion criteria and in addition to exclusion criteria, be able to understand the study and sign his or her name on informed consent. Then use randomized controlled application method, the patients were randomly assigned to treatment or control group. The patients in treatment group were treated with LiangXueHuoXue traditional Chinese medicine decoction orally. The patients in the control group were treated without oral drugs. The treatment group and the control group both use calcipotriene ointment. Observe the course for two months, there must be a return visit every two weeks, lesion area and PASI scores should be done. PASI scores were compared before and after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Statistical date use SPSS19.0 statistical software to do analysis.Results1. After statistical test, to compare pre-treatment baseline informations including sex、age、the course of the disease、PASI scores of the treatment group and the control group, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant, so they were comparable.2. After the endness of the study, the PASI scores of both groups were significantly reduced by statistical tests, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the two groups have received good effect.3. After treatment, the PASI scores of each group were compared,P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the efficacy of the treatment group preceded the control group.4. To compare the PASI scores among the two groups every two weeks, the difference was not statistically significant at the end of the second week (P>0.05), showed no significant difference between the two groups at this time; At the end of the fourth week% the sixth week、the eighth week, the PASI scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), prompted the efficacy of the treatment group became better than the control group from the fourth week on.5. After 8 weeks’treatment, in the treatment group,2 cases got markedly efficacy,18 cases were effective and 4 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 83.3%; In the control group,0 cases got markedly efficacy,15 cases were effective and 10 cases were invalid, the total effective rate of 60%. the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).conclusionLiangXueHuoXue traditional Chinese medicine treatment of psoriasis vulgaris got significant efficacy.
