Background and objective:The patiens of nephrotic syndrome who relapsed within 6 months more than two times or relapsed within 1 year more than three times defined as frequent relapses nephropathy syndrome. They often used hormone therapy for a long time or increasing immunosuppressive therapy.Common side effects of these drugs include decreased immune function, increased the risk of infection. A retrospective study showed that the childrens with frequent relapses nephropathy syndrome under the age of 14 who used Levamisole as they therapy have a good effect. The steroid dose was significantly decreased. The number of relapses also significantly decreased. The internal also has similar reports. But the research like these for the adult were uncommon. The experiment was designed to investigate the therapeutic efficacy of levamisole on refractory nephropathy syndromeMethods:We take 58 refractory nephrotic syndrome patients who appear disturbances of cellular immuneduring Jan.2013 to Jan.2014 for the research. They were divided into treatment group(odd, using levamisole)and control group(even, without using levamisole). In For one year observation period, two groups of immunological index (CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+), disease recurrence, infection, urine protein were recorded.Result:(1)At six months, contrast with control group, the treatment group CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ increases,CD8+ has no Statistical differences (P>0.05), in control group, the immunology index remains significant unchanged(P> 0.05).At twelve months, the immunology index of the treatment group is better than control group, has statistical differences (P<0.05)> in control group, the immunology index remains significant unchanged(P> 0.05).(2)Both groups urinary protein goes down after treatment(P<0.05).The treatment group decrease more than the control group.(3)The remission rate of both groups have no statistical differences (P> 0.05), but the completed remission patients in treatment group are more than those in control group. They have statistical differences (P<0.05). (4)The infection rate in treatment group are lower than the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05).Stop levamisole in the second six months, the infection rate increases, have statistical differences(P<0.05). (5) Disease recurrences in treatment group are lower than control group, have statistical differences(P<0.05).
