A Clinical Application Study After Inferior Pedicle Combined With The Dermal Suspension Sling Technique For Treating Macromastia

Objective To explore the disadvantages of traditional reduction mammaplasty with inferior pedical, so as to improve operation method, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and inform a method of reduction mammaplasty which ensures well nipple-areola lactation function,adequate blood supply and good medial fullness and projection.The effect of the operation is evaluated through follow-up study.Methods Retrospective analysis of 2004 July to 2014 december by using reduction mammaplasty with inferior pedical for hypertrophy breast reduction plasty of clinical data, summarize the clinical experience of the application of the technology, to take corresponding measures according to the reasons of postoperative effects of poor, take inferior pedicle combined with the dermal suspension sling technique for breast reduction surgery. And evaluate the postoperative effect of the two kinds of operative methods through preoperative postoperative objective data measurement, questionnaire survey and rating scale.Results 2004-2014,15 cases of breast hypertrophy (with or without breast prolapse) patients breasts removed, under which group A with traditional method 9 cases, group B with inferior pedicle combined with the dermal suspension sling technique 6 cases. Results:(1) symptoms and signs in patients have got significant relief;(2)all patients have a beautiful breast shape compared with the preoperative; (3) postoperative nipple and areola feel good; one patient of Group A have nipple feeling function mild impairment,which gradually restored after 3 months.(4) Two patients of Group A have complications such as excessive full after 1.5-2 years, but Group B did not appear the complications and postoperative long-term aesthetic effect is ideal, patients are satisfied with the breast shape.(5) All patients with minor scar hidden.Conclusion Dermal suspension and horizontal dermal placation provides a structural foundation to the inferior pedical.It is an effective method of treatment for reduction mammaplasty,in that the sensation and lactation function of nipple-areola complex get further guaranteed, have nice breast projection and shape,and can be applied to all cases of reduction mammaplasty.
