Objective To investigate the effect of micropower vacuum dressings on the healing of rabbit second degree burn wound.Methods Eight adult healthy rabbit was performed a second degree burn, which was obtained on the dorsal skin using electrons homeothermia burn instrument 90°C for 12 s. Four wounds was performed symmetrically on the back of each rabbit in a self-control situation. One site is the micropower vacuum dressings treated group and the other is the control group, treated with vaseline gauze. Immediately after burn and 1, 3, 5,7d postburn, the wounds were harvested and water content was examined by dry to wet weight method. Wound microcirculation blood flow was determined using the laser Doppler flowmetry and wound healing process was also detected.Results Wound general observation : Micro power vacuum treatment group received care dressings on the 18 ~ 21 days postburn, the skin of the wound basically, Vaselinetreated control group after treatment wound skin on the 21 ~ 25 days postburn.Wound tissue water content: immediately postburn, wound treatment and control groups showed no significant difference tissue water content(t = -0.680, P = 0.948),On the 1d, 3d,5d and 7d postburn, wound tissue water content in the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(t=5.067, 5.133, 4.464, 3.875,P=0.001, 0.001, 0.003, 0.006). wound microcirculation blood flow: immediately postburn, the two groups wound microcirculation blood flow difference was notstatistically significant(t = 0.785, P = 0.458).On the 3d, 5d and 7d postburn, wound microcirculation blood flow in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=-3.155, -4.835, -7.168,P=0.016, 0.020, 0.000). The results of the skin flap survival area and the wound healing time : On the 14 d and 20 d postburn, The results of the skin flap survival area in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=-39.052, -11.223,P=0.000, 0.000). In the treatment group, the wound healing time is(20.9±2.2) d, the control group((23.0±2.4) d)was significantly longer than that of the treatment group(t=9.379,P=0.000).Conclusion Micropower vacuum dressings can reduce tissue edema, increase rabbit second degree burns microcirculatory blood flow, and accelerate wound healing, To promotion of the burn wound healing and it is better for doctors and nurses to provide basic theoretical basis for the clinical application of micropower vacuum dressings.
