Objective Investigate the significance of CD4+, CD8+ counts in peripheral blood of the cutaneous tuberculosis, deeper the understanding of etiological factor and cellular immunological status in progression of the disease, guide the diagnosis and treatments. Methods Summarize the significance of CD4+, CD8+ cells in cutaneous tuberculosis through studying the research development of T lymphocyte subsets in tuberculosis. Analysis and summarize the clinical medical record of a case of scrofuloderma according to associated references of scrofuloderma report in nearly 10 years.Result T lymphocyte subsets play an important role in the body’s immunological status, development stage and optimization of diagnosis and treatment in cutaneous tuberculosis. Scrofuloderma is not a common disease whose diagnosis needs comprehensive analysis the clinical manifestations, laboratory examination, histopathology, and even the diagnostic anti-tuberculosis treatment, the disequilibrium of T cells immunity may effect the Condition and prognosis of the disease. Conclusion 1.Detecting CD4+, CD8+ counts in the cutaneous tuberculosis may helps to study its pathogenesis, to further understand the condition and immunological status, to guide the anti-tuberculosis treatments and immunity adjutant therapy.2.It is indicated that when a patient is emaciation and have a history of pulmonary tuberculosis, lesions of multiple ulcers and fistula accompanied with funicular scar which last for many years may be scrofuloderma, he or she need to do the skin pathological examinations as soon as possible in order to insure better treatment and prognosis.
