Objective:We take the cutaneous tuberculosis or NTM infectious diseases diagnosed in our hospital as the object of the study and review the microorganism distribution, clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis of this group of diseases during the past ten years,to provide a reference to diagnosis and treatment in local area. Methods:All the retrospective patients diagnosed with cutaneous mycobacteria infectious diseases between January 1,2008 and Dec 31,2017 in the outpatient department or in wards of the Institute of Dermatology,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences was identified. Those who met our criteria were included and were analysed for microorganism distribution, basic or clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis information among different kinds of patients. Results:There were 203 patients in total diagnosed with cutaneous tuberculosis or nontuberculous mycobacterial infectious disease in past ten years. The most common pathogens were M.tuberculosis(43.84%),M.marinum(34.98%).The mean age of those patients was 51.96±15.97 years.Infections were more common in those aged over 40 years old(80.61%).The patients mostly come from Jiangsu(52.52%)and Anhui Province(23.02%).This study finally included 103 patients, the course of diseases was 3.80 years on average.Lesions were most common on hands(35.92%)and face(22.33%).The predominant clinical forms were nodules(51.46%)and plaques(49.51%).91.26%patients responses well to antibacterial therapy. Conclusions:The number of cutaneous tuberculosis or NTM infectious diseases has been increasing continuously in past 10 years.Although the mycobacterium tuberculosis remains the most common species in this group of disease, the total number of NTM infection has already surpassed. The second most common pathogens were M.marinum, which was also the most common NTM,while M.abcsessus was the most common RGM in this hospital during past ten years.Different mycobacteria cutaneous infection varies on clinical characteristics. Most patients response well to antibacterial therapy, the unendurable drug reaction was a major course for poor outcome.
