Objective:to describe the dietary nutrient intake of hospitalized patients and provide scientific basis for the treatment of nutritional support in patients with nutritional risk.Method:We investigated the general conditions and dietary survey of 160 patients in Baoding Hospital,2013. 30 from department of neurology,30 from department of cardiology,30 from department of gastroenterology,30 from department of hematology and 20 from department of surgical oncology. Patients with fasting or supported by enteral nutrition or parenteral nutrition were excluded. Height,weight,disease status and the 3-days of dietary intake were included in the survey. The daily intake of energy and nutrients and the percentage of the recommended intake of every patiens were calculated.Result:1 The average of BMI of overall hospitalized patiens were in the normal range,the energy contribution from fat exceeded the recommendation,the carbohydrates were not enough and the intake of calcium,vitamin A,vitamin C and dieatry fiber were severely insufficient.2 The patients from epartment of neurology and department of cardiology took insufficient cholesterol and calcium. Their intake of vitamin E was up to 130% of recommendation and the intake of calcium,iron,magnesium,vitamin A, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2 were less than 70% of recommendation.3 Most patients from gastroenterology has energy and protein malnutrition. The intake of energy,protein,dieatry fiber,calcium,iron,magnesium,vitamin A, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2 were less than 70% of recommendation.Conclusion:1 The nutrition status of overall hospitalized patiens were general,the malnutrition were very common in patients from department of gastroenterology and surgical oncology. The nutritional risk screening should be given timel and give nutrition support personally to correct the cacotrophia problem.2 The nutriens and energy intake status of patients were differ from departments,dietary pattern was inappropriate. The hospitalized patients should intake diversified food and avoid nutrition mistakes.3 The total energy and protein should be appropriately increased according to the actual situation,noted the fat intake,selected appropriate foods to supplement protein. The intake of calcium, iron, magnesium, dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2 were very common,patients should increase the intake of foods tich in these nutrients.
