Objective: To analysis the expression of OPN in glioma patients to provid diagnosis and clinical application.Methods: In the benign group, we randomly selected 149 cases of patients with benign intracranial pathologically diagnosed in Baoding Second Central Hospital from March 2013 to November 2014 as research subjects. In the malignant group(gliomas), we randomly selected 157 cases of primary malignant glioma patients with pathologically diagnosed in Baoding Second Central Hospital from March 2013 to February 2015. Prior to this study, all cases of glioma group were not subjected to any treatment for gliomas. In data processing and analysis, SPSS18.0 statistical software was applied for statistical analysis.Results: 1 Benign group and the malignant group were collected in the number of cases, age and family history and other basic information, no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05). There was statistically significant difference of positive rate of OPN markers(P < 0.05).2 Astrocytoma positive rate in patients with glioma and endometrial glioma patients and medulloblastoma glial tumors tissues(P < 0.05), however, no significant difference of positive rate of OPN cell markers in glioma patients and medulloblastoma glial tumors tissues(P > 0.05).3 The positive rate of OPN markers of tumor tissue in patients with different clinical grading is different. The positive rate of OPN between grade I and grade II gliomas was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference between grade III and grade IV. But, grade I and II patients OPN in tumor markers were significantly lower than grade III and IV in the tumor tissue in patients(P <0.05).Conclusions: 1 The positive expression of OPN in malignant tumor patients was significantly higher than in benign gliomas patients.2 Astrocytoma positive rate in patients with glioma and endometrial glioma patients and medulloblastoma glial tumors tissues, however, no significant difference of positive rate of OPN cell markers in glioma patients and medulloblastoma glial tumors tissues.3 The expression of OPN in different clinical grading of gliomas, OPN expression in grade III or IV glioma patients were higher than in patients with grade I and II.
