Dysphagia is a common complications of stroke patients, about 51% ~ 78%patients can appear the symptoms of dysphagia in acute period, and dysphagia will cause a series of complications, such as aspiration and aspiration pneumonia,dehydration, malnutrition, which is also an independent risk factor of death in stroke patients. At the same time the patient psychology will produce a series of changes,such as fear of eating, anxiety, depression, which seriously impact on patients quality of life,either. So the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia after stroke is particularly important. A large number of domestic and foreign literature was summarized and analysised comprehensively. The database selected include Pubmed, Wanfang Database, China Hownet, Chinese journal full-text database and Chinese outstanding master’s and Doctoral dissertations full-text database and so on. Combining with manual consult related literatures and books,I learned about the pathogenesis of dysphagia,rehabilitation assessment and Rehabilitation. At present, the rehabilitation of dysphagia after stroke remains a major clinical problem. Patients with dysphagia after stroke patients should be assessed as soon as possible,early rehabilitation intervention and early implementation individualized rehabilitation treatment and comprehensive therapy can minimize complications and improve the life quality of patients. The pathogenesis, dysphagia after stroke rehabilitation assessment and rehabilitation treatment is reviewed as follows.
