Objective To investigate the development path of behavior problems amongecological immigrant children in Ningxia, as well study the effect of generalself-efficacy and class environment on ecological migration on children’s behaviorproblem. Methods The present study collected data on adolescence’s behavior problemfrom March of2012to December of2013.We examined the developmentalchanges in behavior problem during ecological immigrant adolescence using latentgrowth curve model and further explored the gender differences in such changesby multiple-group LGM. Second,we examined the impacts of general self-efficacyand class environment on growing trend and rate of change on immigrantadolescence’s behavior problems.Results1.The descending developmental trend of behavior problems duringthe27months, was significant on the whole. And there was significant difference on the developmental variance of behavior problems among individuals. But,therewas not significant on the developmental trend among individuals. And the levelof initial behavior problems couldn’t significantly predict the developmental trendof behavior problems.2. Gender difference was significant on the developmental trend of behaviorproblems. Boy’s descending rate of change on behavior problem was significantlyslower than girls’. Girls’ developmental trend of behavior problem had biggerdifference than boys’ reached a significant level marginally among individuals.3. Initial general self-efficacy didn’t have significant influence on the meanscore of behavior problem. But, it could negatively affect the liner growth trend ofbehavior problem. The general self-efficacy at T1had a significant positiveinfluence on the quadratic growth trend of behavior problem.4. After considering the influence of initial general self-efficacy at T1,theliner descending trend of behavior problems turns to be unobvious, the linerdescending or the quadratic growth trend of behavior become unobvious.5. The initial teachers and students relations and classmate relations fromclass environment could significantly negatively prospect the mean score of behavior problem.6. After considering the effects of class environment, the liner descendingtrend of behavior problem was not obvious, while the quadratic growth of behaviorproblem. Conclusion: The descending developmental trend of total behavior problemwas obvious. And gender difference was significant on the developmental trend ofbehavior problems. While the initial general self-efficacy and class environmenthad significant influence development trend and rate of change on immigrantadolescence’s behavior problems.
