Objective To detect tuberculosis antibody of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) bytuberculosis protein chip and explore its clinical value in diagnosis oftuberculous meningitis (TBM).Methods The serum and CSF antibodies from30TBM patients,and CSFantibodies from30non-TBM patients were detected by tuberculosis proteinchip,and the diagnostic value of the test was evaluated.Results As was shown in the60clinical CSF samples,the sensitivity,specificity, positive predictive value,negative predictive value,Youden’s index ofthe diagnostic test were63.33%、96.67%、95.00%、72.50%、 and60.00%respectively,the serum’s sensitivity is66.67%. The difference between the CSF’spositive rate and serum’s positive rate of TBM group showed no statisticallysignificance(2=0.073,p=0.787,p>0.05).Conclusion Tuberculosis protein chip is a set of genetic recombination, dotimmunogold filtration technology and microarray technology in a micro-analyticaltechniques,specific detection of tuberculosis antibody in cerebrospinal fluid by TBprotein chip can become an important auxiliary inspection in the diagnosis oftuberculous meningitis. High specificity.
