The theory of meridians is an important part of traditional Chinese medicinetheory, and numerous studies and researches show us the existence of the propagatedsensation along meridians. With the development of the computer graphics andnetwork technology, more and more data, knowledge, tools and other resources andservices are provided through the web. The access to network resources are no longerlimited in the way of traditional two-dimensional and multi-media, it has now becomea new requirement to use the3D interactive technology to disseminate the theory ofmeridians、display the propagated sensation along meridians。The contradictionsbetween a large data of the three-dimensional model and the shortage of thebandwidth of network in the three-dimensional interaction network and the constantpause for the waiting for data in the interactive process will influence the interactioneffect. And all of these which will make the practical applications of the interactivethree-dimensional network often constrained by network bandwidth. The existing researches on the three-dimensional model transmission over webare mainly for the three-dimensional terrain visualization technology or thecooperative operation of the three-dimensional CAD model. For the characteristicsexisted in the web-based interactive human meridian system, the problems that thebad response performance of the system can not be solved by the data transmissionstrategy. In this article, we introduce the context aware computing into the network forthree-dimensional interaction and to find the link between the contexts through thesemantic network. We propose a context processing method on the base of theknowledge of the semantic network to realize a data transmission strategy through theweb-based interactive human meridian system. This strategy could forecast the user’sbehaviors through the context aware computing before they send the service requests, and determine what kind of data the system should provide for the users so as todownload related resources in advance to improve the response performances of thesystem.Firstly, we describe a comprehensive form of development of the human meridianand current researches of the three-dimensional model of the network transmissionand sum up the problems. Then we make an analysis on the transmission needs of the system and the context environment, and propose the web-based interactive humanmeridian system data system on the base of the context aware. And what’s more, taking the context of user interest for example, we build a semantic network accordingto the semantic link of the context on the base of the knowledge of the semanticnetwork after having an in-depth research of the context processing and updatemethod in the context-aware computing model, and also a mathematical model. Wealso propose a context processing method which is indicated by the semantic networkknowledge. At last, we have a test on the prototype system in the lab environment toexamine the achievement situation of the function and make an evaluation on it.As what we described in the paper, a data transmission strategy which is based onthe context aware in the web-based interactive human meridian system, to someextent, can improve the system’s responsiveness and human-compute internationalefficiency under the condition of a relative shortage of bandwidth. And it wouldprovide a new idea for spreading the use of3D interactive technology in the fieldssuch as three-dimensional digital display, distance learning and online games. Itwould definitely have a wide range of applications...
