Objectives The aim of this artical analysis the association among level of serum gamma-glutamyltansferase (GGT), GRACE risk score and coronary artery lesions in patients withacute coronary syndrome. And to evaluate the predictive value for coronary artery lesionsand cardiovascular events. Methods The research object were patients who complain about chest pain, treated infirst ward of cardiology department and accepted coronary artery angiography, TangshanGongren Hospital, from2012February to2012December. There were318participants inthe current study. who accepted demographic investigation, medical history, physicalexamination, biochemical indicators. We calculated the Gensini score according the resultof coronary artery angiography and GRACE risk score according clinical data. After afollow-up time of6months, we analyzed date from this study by SPSS13.0, and wanted tofind the association among serum GGT level, GRACE risk score and coronary arterylesions, and the predictive value for conditions of prognosis in ACS patients.Results1General data analysis found that there are multiple cardiovascular risk factors inACS patients, Compared with the UP group and the control group, GGT levels, GRACErisk score and Gensini score of AMI were higher, the difference is statistically significant(P for tend <0.05);2Correlation analysis found that there was positive correlationbetween serum GGT level, GRACE risk score and Gensini score(r=0.459,0.379,respectively), The same relationship happens between serum GGT level and GRACE riskscore (r=0.277); multiple linear regression showed there is a linear relationship betweenGRACE risk score, serum GGT and Gensini score.3In UP group and AMI group, majoradverse cardiovascular events happened in19cases (12.7%),27cases (27.3%),respectively.4The GGT levels had an area under the ROC curve of0.758at predicting theoccurrence of MACE in6months (95%CI0.703~0.813), GRACE risk score had an areaunder the ROC curve of0.737at predicting the occurrence of MACE in6months (95%CI0.677~0.797). United GGT levels and GRACE risk score had an area under the ROCcurve of0.817at predicting the occurrence of MACE in6months (95%CI0.768~0.867).Conclusions1GRACE risk score and GGT of ACS patients were higher than the controlgroup.2Serum GGT levels and GRACE risk score were positively associated with thedegree of coronary artery lesions in ACS patients.3In ACS patients, serum GGT levelsand GRACE risk score have certain predictive value in occurrence of major adversecardiovascular events after6months.
