Purpose:Comparative efficacy and side effects of Three intravesical drugs (Sapylin,Pirarubicin,Mitomycin C) in preventing postoperative recurrence of superficialbladder cancerMethods:Collect cases which in July2011-December2013, bladder cancer tumor stage Ta orT1, postoperative joint or separate use Sapylin, THP, MMC intravesical, a total of156cases, according to postoperative intravesical drugs were divided into threegroups: sapylin group55cases, THP group57cases, MMC group57cases, Thefist perfusion immediately executed after Transurethral resection of bladder tumor(TURBT), then once a week, a total of eight weeks, then once a month, a total of1year, follow-up of6-18months. all Patients need be taken cystoscopy and urinecytology every three months. We recorded The number of cases of recurrence in eachgroup, and the performance and the number of cases of side effects, compare theefficacy and side effects of each group.Results:1.Sapylin group of8cases of recurrence, the recurrence rate of14.5%(8/55),THP group of8cases of recurrence, the recurrence rate of14.0%(10/57), MMCgroup of10cases of recurrence, the recurrence rate of17.5%(10/57), comparingthe efficacy: there groups were no significant difference (P>0.05); Respectively,Three treatments at low, medium risk group efficacy comparisons were notstatistically significant (P>0.05).2.In the factors of tumor recurrence, Compare pedunculated and sessile, papillary andnon-papillary, tumor size, single and multiple, histological grade contrast, EORTCrisk of recurrence grouping. In each pairwise comparison group, use χ2test to compare, the results showed: only tumor grade G1compared with G3wasstatistically significant (P=0.010), G2compared with G3difference was statisticallysignificant (P=0.022), EORTC recurrence risk groups with low risk group comparedwith Intermediate risk group was statistically significant (P=0.001).3.side effect: each group’s side effects is varying, all patients can tolerate. Sapylingroup has a low incidence in hematuria and urinary tract irritation, compare withother groups, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), other side effects’difference between the three groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The efficacy of Sapylin, THP, MMC in preventing superficial bladder cancerrecurrence is similar. The efficacy of there treatments at low, medium risk groupcomparisons is similar.2.The main factors of tumor recurrence are tumor’s pathological grade and EORTCrecurrence risk score, the higher the pathological level or EORTC score, the higherthe recurrence rate.3.single intravesical Sapylin has mild side effects, manifested as mild fever and mildurinary tract irritation; side effects of single intravesical THP or MMC mainly ashematuria, urinary tract irritation; single perfusion of Sapylin has minimal sideeffects.
