Objective:Analyzing the root canal variation of anterior teeth byCBCT which creating the image data. Methods: Selecting the images data of the anterior teeth of600patients (7200), then observing the images by NNT software at the cross, coronal and sagittal section, and investigating the number of roots androot canals, the type of canal configuration, the sagittal shape of rootcanals and bilateral symmetry.Results:1. the number of root canal: the root canal of maxillaryanterior teeth which have no variation are single. the incidence of rootcanal mutation of300mandibular teeth is9.16%.2.the type of canalconfiguration: All the maxillary anterior teeth is TypeⅠ,mandibularanterior teeth in type Ⅱ0.83%, typeⅢ6.67%, typeⅣ1.33%.typeⅤ0.33%.3. the symmetry of root canal: the maxillary anterior teethsymmetry are not existed. The incidence of mandibular anterior teethsymmetry: the central incisors69.2%; the lateral incisors86.1%; thecanine66.7%.4.the number of root:all anterior teeth have one root except two canines.5. cross section of root canals mophology:it’s variety, butmore near the apical, the shape of canals became round. Conclusion: The root and canal anatomy of maxillary anterior teethhave no variation, but mandibular anterior teeth is complex,9.16%ofcanal variation, CBCT can accurately investigate canal system.
