Quasi experimental research was used to evaluate high-school-student health literacy education intervention effect in2key middle schools in Jiading district. Epidata soft was used to establish quantitative data database, and logic check was set up. EXCEL software was used for sorting data. SPSS17.0statistical software and EXCEL2003were used to descriptive research,χ2and multiple factors analyses were performed to evaluate the factors of student health literacy. x2test was used to analyze the indicators rate to evaluate the effect of health literacy education intervention experiment on health literacy by SPSS statistical software.Results1health knowledge and health behavior among freshmen in Jiading districtOf1348investigated middle school students, the rate of awareness of overall health knowledge the overall health knowledge awareness rate was76.3%, male75.1%, female 75.1%, and the difference was statistically significant (x2=21.163, P<0.001). Overall health behavior formation rate was70.6%, male69.9%, female69.9%, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=5.536, P<0.019).2High grade student health literacy status and its influencing factors High grade students’overall health literacy level was33.7%(454/1348). Single factor analysis showed that the school level, degree of national culture, parent’s cultural degree and the students themselves to fall in love was singly significantly associated with health literacy(x2=4.557,6.654,6.606,6.524and14.295;P=0.033,0.010,0.037,0.038and0.001); Multiple factors analysis found the school level, ethnic and health status were significantly correlated with health literacy(OR(95%CI)=1.308(1.033-1.655),0.427(0.237-0.769),0.816(0.668-0.997))3Awareness rate of knowledge about HIV/AIDS transmission routes in high-school studentsOverall awareness rate of knowledge about HIV/AIDS transmission routes was77.6%(10465/13480)。152students (11.3%) completely answered correctly ten issues about HIV/AIDS transmission route, there was no significantly difference between sex.4Assessment of high-school student health literacy education intervention effect4.1Equilibrium analysis between intervention group and control groupExcept for age composition between the two groups before intervention, other basic information between two groups was no statistical difference. Although age composition was different before intervention, age was not statistically correlated with the rate of health literacy.4.2Health education intervention effect assessmentComparison between intervention and control groups, among total health literacy, three aspects and five types of health problems, the differences of the basic skills of health and scientific health perspectives literacy rate between two groups before intervention were statistically significant(x2=18.625and0.161; P all less than0.001), the other had no statistical difference t(P all more than0.05); After the intervention, the differences of health literacy, three and five types of health problems of health literacy rate between two groups were statistically significant (x2=165.495,130.600,124.265,128.736,58.175,98.229,86.873,51.953and84.904; Pall less than0.001).Comparison between before and after the intervention, the differences of total health literacy, three aspects and five types of health problems have health literacy rate was not statistical significant between before and after the intervention in control group(P all more than0.05); the differences of total health literacy, three and five types of health problems of health literacy rate were all statistical significant between before and after the intervention in intervention group(x2=154.750,135.046,113.071,42.484,43.685,89.065,76.473,60.083and153.318; P all less than0.001).Conclusion1Jiading district health knowledge and health behavior among freshmen in general is not high, the girl’s overall health knowledge awareness and health behavior formation rate are higher than boys;2Overall awareness rate of knowledge about HIV/AIDS transmission routes was higher than the rate in other middle school, but the rate of comprehensive grasp of knowledge of AIDS transmission routes for middle school students is generally low;3High student’s overall level of health literacy was equivalent to the middle school students’health literacy levels in other parts, but higher than the national average levels of residents;4Influence factors analysis of high student health literacy showed that the school level, degree of national culture, father, mother’s cultural degree, students themselves to fall in love, health status, those six factors may affect the health literacy level.5In this study, the high-school student health education interventions raised the health literacy level obviously and illustrated the effectiveness of health education intervention measures.Suggestions1High school students’health education intervention, strengthen to help high school students improve the level of health knowledge and health behavior, especially to health knowledge propaganda of the dangers of passive smoking, HIV/AIDS transmission routes and eat salt every day, as well as how to refuse to correct behavior such as passive smoking, the partial eclipse;2Focus on health literacy intervention of ethnic minorities, poor health for ordinary middle school culture level of students and parents;3Health education intervention measures such as propaganda album, seminar, theme class discussion meeting, were advocated by health education to the student health literacy intervention.
