Objective To explore the clinical association between vitamin D and the bronchiolitis. Methods According to the diagnostic criteria of bronchiolitis, we selected190cases of vitamin D deficiency in children with bronchiolitis from the First Hospital Affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University. And we put them randomly dividely into the experimental and control group. The experimental group included61males and30females, and the control group included70males and29females.All the experimental and control group were conducted anti-infection treatment, and the treatment were the same. And the children in the experimental group began to supply vitamin D1months.To record the clinical remission times and days of hospitalization of the two groups, and detect all serum25-OHD3、ALP、IgA、IgG、CD4+、CD8+and CD4+/CD8+levels before treatment. This study followed up the above two groups3months, and reviewed the relevant indicators after3months and recurrent times in the3months.Results To campare the serum25-OHD3、ALP、IgA、IgG、CD4+、CD8+、CD4+/CD8+levels between the experimental and control group before treatment, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).After treatment, the serum IgA、IgG levels were higher than before treatment in the experimental group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); but the difference of serum ALP levels was not statistically significant (P>0.05) before and after treatment. After treatment, to campare the serum ALP、IgA、 IgG、CD4+、CD8+、CD4+/CD8+levels between the experimental and control group, the serum IgA、IgG、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+levels in the experimental group were higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); but the difference of serum ALP and CD8+was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The days of hospitalization、symptom remission duration and recurrent times in the experimental group were higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions The vitamin D can affect the prevention and treatment of bronchiolitis by regulating the immune function. And it plays an active role for the prevention and treatment of bronchiolitis.
