Objective:Comparison Intratympanic mouse nerve growth factor, prednisone acetate injection and muscle injection of mouse nerve growth factor in elderly patients with sudden deafness. Methods:Select otology clinic in Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University has been used to improve circulation, neurotrophic drugs regular two courses of treatment, and no improvement in symptoms, the diagnosis of78cases of patients. Were randomly divided into treatment groups28cases (Intratympanic mouse nerve growth factor);Control group A26cases (Intratympanic prednisone);Control group B24cases (Intramuscular injection of mouse nerve growth factor), Intratympanic every other day. Three groups of patients in this treatment based on the same auxiliary conventional therapy, they used intravenous drip skinner105mg, A cobalt amino lmg, coenzyme A100U and adenosine triphosphate40mg every day, All patients treatment a course of two weeks, pure tone audiometry after treatment, compared three groups of patients after treatment to improve the level of hearing and clinical efficacy. Results: Three groups patients after the treatment the hearing level are improved, but the treatment group average pure tone hearing threshold level than the control group; Mouse nerve growth factor Intratympanic group after seven injections, the total effective rate was82.1%, higher than the control group A73.1%and37.5%in control group B; treatment group effective treatment sd with vertigo higher than the control group A and B, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:Intratympanic mouse nerve growth factor remedial treatment of refractory sudden deafness in elderly significantly better than intratympanic prednisone and intramuscular mouse nerve growth factor.
