Children’s autism is a kind of extensive developmental disorders, and it’s incidencehave could be as high as6per thousand in recent years, these children tend to have manydisorders, such as contact, communication, interests and activities, intelligence development.China as a big country with a population of1.3billion, the potential number of people withautism is very large, so autism intervention has great practical significance. At the same time,summarizing a set of practical and effective treatment mode in the process of autismintervention also has a strong theoretical significance.The current researches about autism intervention are often based on the theoreticalperspective of psychology, using the method of case study, mainly aiming at intervention ofsome specific cases. Although these studies have also made some great progress, summed upa series of treatment skilles, such as drug therapy, play therapy, music therapy, behaviortherapy. But they lacked of integrated using these skilles, didn’t enhance the autistic children’ssocial adaptability from the macroscopic point. Based on exploring an effective autismtreatment mode, this study try to use the method of group work from the theoreticalperspective of social work, and have a three-month comprehensive intervention for fourautistic children. The intervention including game therapy, music therapy and paintingtherapy.Through the treatment found: in the treatment process, game therapy can comfort theautistic children, reduce the occurrence of the problem behavior, can enlarge the scope of theireye contact, increase nonverbal communication; Music therapy can promote the developmentof the autistic children’s awareness and attention to the emotion and emotional expression,also can release the bad mood, enhance self-confidence; Painting therapy can cultivate theautistic children’s imagination and creativity, also can be used as a kind of tool to dischargeemotion and express willingness; As a way to help people, group work can achieve the purpose of helping people in the form of group, autistic children within the team can fullytrained their social interactions and language communication ability, strengthen socialintegration in the process of mutual aid.Finally, based on the above analysis and discussion, three conclusions of this research:The establishment of the therapeutic relationship is an important content of autismintervention; Group work intervention method is meaningful for autism intervention; Creatinga favorable external environment is fundamental for the treatment of children with autism. Ofcourse, the limitations of the effectiveness of the intervention effect and team work is alsomust consider the problem. On the basis of these conclusions, the researchers try tosummarize a set of autism treatment mode. This mode does not emphasize any fresh treatmentmethods, because integrated using of existing treatment methods can effectively deal with theproblem of autism. This study argues that stands on the position of social work, the autismshould be considered as an obstacle, rather than a disease, fully stimulating the potential ofautistic children themselves, respecting their wishes and choices, is the core of the autisticchildren’s rehabilitation. In addition, the research methods of group work is a kind ofbeneficial attempt, it can simulate real environment for autistic children in the scope of group,enhance the social adaptation ability. At the same time, the autism intervention is by no meansa simple treatment, it must be systematic, integrated intervention is imperative.
