Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with pulmonary thromboembolism, and to provide a good basis for the diagnosis and treatment work in the future. Methods:To analyse the clinical manifestations, labatory findings, treatment and prognosis in52cases diagnosed as COPD complicated with PTE.Results Cough, sputum (88.5%),chest tightness, shortness of breath(82.7%),dyspnea(76.9%) and tachycardia (53.8%), lung wet rale (48.1%). are the most common cliniacal menifestations;21.2%of the patients have the right ventricular hypertrophy;65.3%of patients have inccresed pulmonary artery pressure;40.4%cases appeared type I respiratory failure;75.4%of the patients’s D-D levels is within1000-5000ng/1, there are71.2%cases’s fibrinogen(Fib) is more than4g/1, CTPA shows that86.5%of the patients have thromboembolism in period of level and the level of pulmonary artery. ConcIusion:Based on the the symptoms and signs only,It’s difficult to diagnose COPD complicated with PTE, CTPA has the highest diagnostic value, Oxygen partial pressure and CO2partial pressure decreased meamingly, right ventricular hypertrophy, D-D and Fib increases, enlarged of right heart, increased pulmonary artery pressure, lower extremity deep vein thrombosis, V/Q scan, etc. also has certain significance for the diagnosis.
