Objective:Study the sensitivity of ICU trauma cases index using the three kinds of as sessment methods:TI,ISS,NISS,to facilitate reasonable intervention treatment for the pati ents with severe trauma before they transferred to ICU,at the same time turn to establish t heoretical basis on assessment of patients transferred to ICU and giving further treatment. Methods:Marking the135of trauma patients from the Surgical emergency center in the First teaching Hospital of Xinjiang medical university in June2012to October2012by using the different scoring methods:TI, ISS and NISS, And record the whereabouts of these patients, Classify patients who were admitted to ICU as ICU group, classify other patients as non-ICU group, analyze the three methods with the ICU relevance by SPSS17.0statistical software, compare the conclusion then get the final results. Results:TI,ISS,NISS and evaluation of the percentage of trauma patients admitted to the I CU were positively correlated; among them, NISS evaluation of patients admitted to ICU was the most sensitive one. Conclusion:The higher the TI, ISS and NISS score, the greater of the possibility of trauma patients admitted to ICU. On the sensitivity of the patients admitted to the ICU, NISS score proved to be the most sensitive, but NISS only slightly better than ISS score, there is no too much difference. Thus, applying NISS evaluation scores can be used as a more efficient standard for doctors to make decisions on admitting patients to ICU, as well as for the ICU resources being used more reasonably and budget more economically. In the mean time, give a score immediately when patients in hospital, then they can be divided into serious or non-serious, emergency or non-emergency according to the grading results, and give corresponding strengthening symptomatic treatment, so that can win a valuable treatment opportunity and the possibility of turnover.
