Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effects of Zhuyu Xiaoyao Tang and acupuncture Baihui on Qi-stagnation and blood stasis type of Post Cerebral Infarction Depression(PCID).Methods:150cases of Qi-stagnation and blood stasis type of PCID patients hospitalized were randomly divided into3groups. On the basis of conventional treatment of cerebral infarction, the first group of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture (n=49), were given Zhuyu Xiaoyao Tang and acupuncture Baihui; the second group of traditional Chinese medicine and Zoloft (n=50), were given Zhuyu Xiaoyao Tang and Zoloft50mg, qd; the third group of Zoloft (n=51), were given Zoloft50mg, qd. Then to observe the changes of SDS, HAMD, NIHSS score of3groups before and after treatment for4weeks,8weeks, and assess the efficacy of the treatment.Results:After treatment, the SDS, HAMD, NIHSS scores of the three groups of patients were significantly improved (P<0.05), in which the traditional Chinese medicine plus acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine plus Zoloft group had similar effect on scale score (P>0.05), and the traditional Chinese medicine plus acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine plus Zoloft group were significantly better than the Zoloft group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Zhuyu Xiaoyao Tang and acupuncture Baihui has significant improvement on depressive symptoms of Qi-stagnation and blood stasis type of PCID, worthy of clinical research application.
