Clinical Curative Effect Observation On Different Phenotypes Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Accompanied Hyperandrogenism By The Method Of Invigorating The Kidney And Regulating Menstruation Cycles

Objective:To observe the curative effect of the method of Invigorating the Kidney and Regulating Menstruation Cycles on treating different phenotypes(obese and non-obese) of Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) accompanied hyperandrogenism, discussing its effect mechanism, provide theoretical basis and treatment methods for clinical treatment.Methods:Selecting patients with kidney-Deficiency type of PCOS accompanied hyperandrogenism as the research object, divided into obese and non-obese group30cases each according to body mass index(BMI). All of them were treated with traditional Chinese medicine based on the method of Invigorating Kidney and Regulating Menstruation for three month. Observing the change of their menstruation, kidney deficiency syndrome, hairiness, acne, Ultrasound polycystic ovary and BMI before and after treatment, measure and calculate the BMI before and after the treatment Respectively check serum testosterone (T), luteinizing hormone (LH), folliele stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (E2), dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and fasting insulin(FINS) before and after treatment. At the same time, compare the situation of endocrine hormone in the two groups before treatment. The obtained data by statistical methods were used to determine the curative effect.Results:①The method of Invigorating the Kidney and Regulating Menstruation Cycles treated obese type and non-obese type of PCOS accompanied hyperandrogenism, total effective rate were70.00%,73.33%. Two groups of efficience have no significant difference (P>0.05).②Comparison before and after treatment:After treatment the patient’s menstrual cycle, hairiness, acne, kidney deficiency syndrome, sinus follicle number, were improved obviously(P<0.01). The effective rate of obese and non-obese group were56.67%%60.00%.. Also the obese BMI were reduced(P<0.01). In the two groups after treatment the blood of T, LH, LH/FSH, DHEAS values had declined, E2, SHBG value rised, obese FINS value reduced.③Comparison between groups:T level of two groups of patients before treatment had no obvious difference (P>0.05), Non-obese patients with PCOS LH, LH/FSH levels were higher than obesity group, FINS of obese patients was higher than the non-obese group. The two groups after treatment of T, LH, LH/FSH, DHEAS, E2, SHBG had no obvious difference (P>0.05). The two groups after treatment of menstrual cycle, hairiness, acne, kidney deficiency syndrome, sinus follicle number, BBT had no obvious difference (P>0.05), therapeutic effect were similar.Conclusion:Two groups of patients with endocrine characteristics differ:the obese patients with LH, LH/FSH levels were higher than in obesity group, FINS of obesity group was higher than non-obese group. Method of Invigorating Kidney and Regulating Menstruation was proved effective on treating different phenotypes of PCOS accompanied hyperandrogenism, therapeutic effect were similar, by regulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis function, can effectively improve the patient’s clinical symptoms and signs:correct the menstrual disorder, improve acne, hairiness and kidney deficiency syndrome, reduce weight, improve polycystic ovary and BBT. Adjust endocrine disorder:reduce T, LH, LH/FSH, DHEAS, elevate SHBG, E2, reduce FINS of obese type group.
