Autism, also known as autistic disorder, is one kind of pervasive developmental disorder. It is characterized by impaired social interaction and verbal and non-verbal communication. Autistic individuals display many forms of repetitive or restricted behavior. The symptoms become apparent before a child is three years old. Autism attracts extensive attention worldwide, most of the researchers focus on the autistics and their behavior, while pay less attention on the main watcher of these autistics.Study1used questionnaires, using primary caregivers and children’s basic information table, simple parenting stress index as research tools, measurements on primary caregivers of children with autism parental stress levels, finding that primary caregivers of children with autism experience high parental stress,and the mothers feel pressure levels higher than his father and grandparents,in different employment status, gender and children are the parental-child,caregiver stress levels were significantly different. According to the results of study1, Study2selected from30children and their caregivers pairing, assessed on the assessment Scale of autistic children’s emotional and behavioral in the" Autism Child Development Assessment Scale ", pressure measurement with short parenting stress index for pairing caregivers, the study found that the more serious emotional and behavioral problems of children with autism, the higher the primary caregiver parenting stress levels. Study3using the methodology of case study combined with single-subjects experimental design as a method for emotional and behavioral problems of a serious approach children with mild autism sandplay therapy, and using different treatment conditions that putting the primary caregiver as therapeutic factors into the treatment process, the study found that after a period of sandplay therapy, smiling frequency of children, eye contact number, physical contact number and the number of dialogue gradually increased, social interaction and emotional behavior increased, sandbox cure theme increased, caregiver parenting stress levels declined. Conclusions:(1) Primary caregivers of children with autism suffered higher parenting stress. Emotional and behavioral problems of children with autism have a significant impact on its primary caregiver parenting stress.(2) Sandplay therapy of children with autism have promoted the emotional behavior, communication and other symptoms of autism society.(3) Including the treatment of autism parent factors, not only play an active role in the treatment, and can reduce their parenting stress levels, promote the development of their mental health.
