Sandplay therapy,is a kind of psychological therapy that originated in Europe in the early 20th century. It is a psychodynamic method rooted in Jung's theory.Autism, also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)or generalized developmental disorder, usually begins before the age of three, characterized by deficits in social interaction and communication,as well as restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests,or activities. This study used literature, interview, scale measurement and case study methods, the research select two autistic children in Guiyang(4 years old, bright 5 years old),who have hospital diagnostic certificate.Taking the initial box of autistic children as a breakthrough point, the study was divided into two studies:the first one was the collation and analysis of the box therapy for the text, and the box treatment was performed for 3 months.Observing whether box game therapy promotes her social interaction ability, especially eye contact and active language communication,to observe whether to improve her stereotypes; The second is a family sandplay treatment, the whole process of treatment is attended by one of her parents,a total of 12 cases of box therapy in 3 months,to see if family sandplay treatment promotes his speech communication and social skills. This study describes the research process of the two cases in detail. The scores of the scales and observed behaviors indicate that sandplay therapy can significantly improve the social interactions of children with autism, including communication, eye contact, expression and acceptance, but it shows that the effect of stereotypes is not obvious;family sandplay therapy is beneficial to improve the communication and expression ability of autistic children, and enhance family function.
