Objective To evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of Ret-ropubic midurethral tapes compared with Transobturator midurethral tapes and Single-incision mini-slings for female SUI.Methods According to the Cochrane systematic review methods, we searched the literatures in the Cochrane Library、MEDLINE、PreMEDLINE、 EMBASE、EMBASEREVIEWS、Web of Science、CBM、CNKI databases, the con-ference reports and abstracts of the international orgnizations such as ICS, and the academic dissertations which may not be published. The publication date of lieratures were limited from2010.1.1to2013.3.31. The RCTs those include Retropubic midurethral tapes and Transobturator midurethral tapes and Single-incision mini-slings were selected. There were two reviewers assessed the quality of these lieratures and col-lected data independently, the meta-analysis was performed with the software RevMan5.2.5afterwards.Results A total of780literatures were searched and we selected16in used finally of which12literatures were considered as high-quality RCTs. After meta-analysis, following results were obtained:as to RT compared with TOT, none of the overall cure rates and the objec-tive cure rates and the subjective cure rates are significantly dif-ferent; the reoperation rates, the operation failure rates, the urinary retention rates, pains and tape exposure rates are also not signifi-cantly different; bladder perforation rates are higher in RT while TOT has more de novo urgency. As to TOT and SIS, it seems that the objective and the subjective cure rates are higher in TOT though the groin pains occurred more by this procedure; the operation time, retention, eat-imated blood loss rates and tape exposure rates are unanimous. Conclusions The tension-free midurethral tapes have been the rec-ommended procedures for female SUI. The RT procedure has a high long-term objective cure rate, but followed by complications as bladder perforation, bowel injuery and hematuria. Despite these adverse events, it has been the gold standard procedure for SUI in last decade. The TOT procedure is not inferior in TVT, the complication retes are lower except for the groin pains. The SIS procedure solves the problem of groin pains, however, it’s objective and subjective cure rates are lower than TOT and RT. Consequently, combining the cure rates and the complication rates with the actual demands of the patients turns to be necessary for urologists.
