The BMD Level Analysis Of Elderly Subclinical Hypothyroidism About Han And Uygur Nationalities In Xinjiang

Objective:Discusses the correlation study of Han and Uygur nationalities elderly patients with subclinical hypothyroidism’s bone mineral density and analysis the correlation of TSH and bone mineral density and ethnic differences in Xinjiang Urumqi.Methods:Choose the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang medical university from January2010to April2013cadre ward in hospital207cases over60years old. All patients with thyroid function, be divided into the case group and the control group according to the result of determination, the case group of101patients with subclinical hypothyroidism, the control group as we normal patients106cases. The analysis of two groups of age, gender, nationality, BMI, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood calcium and blood phosphorus, osteoporosis occurrence and TSH ethnic differences. Results:Two groups of age, gender, nationality, BMI, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood calcium and blood phosphorus comparison difference has no statistical significance (P>0.05), the comparability of the two groups. That we set of bone mineral density in patients with normal and subclinical hypothyroidism group comparative difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) and TSH negative correlation with bone density. Comparison of bone mineral density between groups, there are differences between the han nationality (P<0.05), no obvious difference was found between Uighur (P>0.05).Conclusion:The bone mineral density in subclinical hypothyroidism elderly patients is lower and the risk of osteoporosis is higher than the the normal elderly patients.In the subclinical hypothyroidism elderly patients, there are differences between the han nationality which appears osteoporosis possibility is big,no obvious difference was found between Uighur.
