Curative Effect Analysis Of Kinetotherapy After Collagenase Chemonucleolysis On Reducing Recurrence Rate

Purpose:Through clinical observation,finding out whether there is relapse after exerting kinesitherapy intervention to patients treated by intervertebral disc chemonucleolysis with collagenase,and the feasibility as well as clinical value of exerting kinesitherapy intervention to patients after the operation to preventing the relapse of LDH, so as to provide new diagnosis and treatment method and theoretical basis for reducing post-operation relapse probabilities.Method:Analyzed the clinical data of80patients with prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc who were all treated with collagenase chemonucleolysis at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of XinJiang Medical University between June2012to June2013, and divided them into two groups based on two different treatment methods, one was the control group(40patients without post-operative care) and the other was observation group(40patients with post-operative kinesitherapy).The follow-up visits were conducted six months after the patients were discharged from the hospital in order to observe if the patents had a recurrence.Result:Under the independent sample rank sum test of the JOA scores of the two groups4weeks after the operation,it is demonstrated that P=0.000<0.001,and the difference is significant.Under the rank sum test of the pair comparison of the JOA scores of the two groups4weeks before and after the operation,the differences are both significant.4weeks after the rehabilitation treatment,the JOA scores of the two groups both rose to varying degrees,and the score of the observation groups is better than that of the control group.Meanwhile,in the follow-up visit of the two groups24weeks after their participation,8cases were found with typical symptoms such as waist and lower extremities pain to different degrees.And under the imaging examination,1case(3%) in the observation and7cases(18%) in the control groups were confirmed with LDH relapse.The Chisquare test on the experimental data showed that the postoperative recurrence risk of LDH of the observation group is obviously lower than that of the control group,and the difference is with statistical significance.Conclusion:The kinesitherapy after collagenase chemonucleolysis can help the patients reduce the risk of recurrence and is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
