Objective:To compare the effect of condylar braced plate (CBP) and less invasive stabilization system and lag screw(LISS-DFS) in the treatment of condyle fracture,so as to find out which one is better. Methods:From August2005to December2012,45cases of patients were divided into two groups24of which were supported with FCSP,and21were supported with the LISS-DFS, cases in the two groups were compared in operation time, perioperative blood, the union of fracture, the HSS. The incidence of complication. Results:The average follow-up time was18months (range12~24months). The operation time of was shorter than that of CBP (t=4.265, P<0.05),and the perioperative blood was less than the latter (t=5.751, P<0.03). the union of fracture of LISS-DFS was shorter than that of CBP (t=3.014, P<0.05),but the HSS was better than the latter (t=3.486, P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of LISS-DFS was better than that of CBP (X2=5.20, P<0.05).The incidence of complication in LISS-DFS group and CBP group was14.28%and29.17%respectively, they showed statiscal difference (X2=7.65, P<0.05).Conclusion: Both of CBP and LISS-DFS are reliable methods for treating comminuted of the femoral condyle.Less invasive stabilization system and lag screw is consistent with the principles of biological osteosynthesis on the design,it is better than using CBP in aspects of operation time; perioperative blood, the union of fracture, the HSS, clinical efficacy. So it is worth extensive applying in clinic.
