Effect Of Wairmming Moxibustion On Aortic Morphology And Immune Balance In Atherosclerosis Rabbits

Objective:Through the observation of the chronic hyperlipidemia and early atherosclerosis model rabbit which after moxibustion treats, to understand the rules of moxibustion affect on immune function. Try to explore the regulating mechanism of mild moxibustion on the immune function.Method:Divided8from the32Japanese healthy male rabbits randomly into control group, And the rest24rabbits were AS building group, which using endothelial injury and high-fat diet for atherosclerosis model preparation. Control group were fed the normal diet and drink freely. After10weeks AS building, all of the building group were divided into model group, mild moxibustion group and drug group averagely.Mild moxibustion group were treaded by mild moxibustion10minutes every point per day. Drug group were fed with lovastatin capsule3.6mg/kg every day.After treatment, fresh serum was measured cholesterol (TC)、 Triacylglycerol (TG)、high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-cX low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c) by spectrophotometry method; And interleukin-8(IL-8)、Monocyte chemotactic factor-1(MCP-1)、interferon-γ (IFN-γ)、interleukin-4(IL-4) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method. Separate and shear the abdominal aorta part. Then using the application of HE staining and Sudan dyes dye the abdominal aorta, to observe and compare foam cells on early atherosclerotic vascular endothelial in each groups.Result:1) the performance of TC、TG、HDL-C、LDL-c in mild moxibustion group was significantly lower than control group,with significant difference (P<0.01). Comparing with the drug group, the performance of TC, HDL moxibustion group lower tendency is superior to drug group. But there was no different between these two groups(P>0.05).2) the performance of IL-8、MCP-1in serum of the mild moxibustion group was significantly lower than control group, with significant difference (P<0.01). Comparing with the model group, the performance of IL-8、MCP-1of the drug group is much lower with great difference(P<0.01). The lower tendency of IL-8and MCP-1in moxibustion group is superior to drug group. But there was no different between these two groups(P>0.05).3) The content of IFN-y in serum of the mild moxibustion group was significantly lower than control group, with significant difference (P<0.01). Comparing with the model group, the performance of IFN-y of the drug group is much lower with great difference(P<0.01). The content of IL-4in serum of the mild moxibustion group was significantly higher than control group, with significant difference (P<0.01). Comparing with the model group, the performance of IL-4of the drug group is much higher with great difference(P<0.01). The ratio of Thl/Th2mild moxibustion group was of the mild moxibustion group and the drug group were significantly lower than control group, with significant difference (P<0.01). And there was no different between the mild moxibustion group and the drug group (P>0.05).4) Comparing with the model group, the form of foam cells on vascular endothelial cells of moxibustion group were obviously improved, which can observe smooth endangium、arrangement of smooth muscle cell almost tidiness and the regular form of foam cells.Conclusion:Moxibustion intervention can reduce atherosclerosis index. The related start factors of atherosclerosis can be suppressed. Meanwhile, moxibustion intervention intervene migration direction of Th cell, which is restore the body’s immune balance to a relatively stable state though the way that adjust the balance between the the humoral immunity and cellular immunity. The all above can delay the development of the atherosclerosis. And the risk of blood clot rupture event is reduced greatly, which realize the WenTong effect of Moxibustion.
