This paper firstly makes a literature study of Vertigo.It collects ancient and moderninformation on the vertigo of literature which provides the theory basis of traditional ChineseMedicine for the study,and carris it on analysis and synthesis.By finishing summaring thecases of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of dizziness of mentor professor ZhangHuailiang, and starting from theoretical basis for the treatment of vertigo、differentiation ofsymptoms and signs for classification of syndrome and proceed with herbal prescription,andresearching on the teacher’s academic lectures、medical records and medical words and theusual face-to-face teaching,it summed up the tutor’s experience on treating,discussed on thetutor’s academic thought in treatment of vertigo under the repeated guidance of the tutor.Discussing it from the following parts Mainly:The first part: The definition and the name’s history of vertigo. The second part:Theawareness on wind-induced vertigo of previous physicians.The third part: Etiology andpathogenesis of wind-induced: The wind is the basic pathological factors, mainly to internalwind,can cause disease separately or with fire and phlegm;The pathogenesis doesn’t includeliver at all, and associated with the spleen and kidney. The fourth part: Differentiation andtypes of syndrome and the ways of making a prescription for patients with Vertigo. The fifthpart: Clinical essentials:1. Treatment based on syndrome differentiation and discarding thedross and selecting the essential.2. Treatment in the direction of three yin which takenseparately.3.Paying attention to cultivating the main and acquired organ.4.Using traditionalchinese medicine for removing wind magically.5. Focusing on emotions and cultivating theliving.6. Mastering Traditional Chinese medicine mainly, Refer to Western medicine anduniting them properly. The sixth part: The analysis of the case. We could understand a wealth of professor ZhangHuailiang’s experience on thetreatment of vertigo through this research.For example,being good at using ancientprescriptions and compatibility of medicines in a prescription in clinical.The tutorsummarizes this experience that rises to the level of theory,and spreads it,directs clinicalpractice at the same time.
