Through the clinical research of review, with the TCM theory as guide, adopting the observation method, the comparison method and Mathematical Statistics method, we induced and analyzed pattern of treatment based on syndrome differentiation of the famous scholar and doctor of Chinese medicine professor Duan Fujin curing vertigo to summarize his academic thought completely.First through bibliography study, this research discussed evolution of name, pathogeny, pathogenesis, dialectics the theory cures to divide the type, treatment rule of vertigo, providing a theories basis for sorting and summarizing pattern of treatment based on syndrome differentiation professor Duan Fujin treating vertigo.Through analysis of 507 cases of vertigo in the medical Differential Treatment methods, a summary of Professor Duan Fujin vertigo diagnosis and treatment of clinical experience and academic thinking: 1. Liver and spleen and kidney dysfunction is the vertigo of the basic, and its decision is in the main internal factors. 2. Wind, fire, phlegm, asthenia syndrome, stagnated blood is the cause of vertigo. 3. Vertigo more performance for the asthenia and sthenia inclusions, suggesting that we must not blindly strengthening body resistance, or just to attack evil. Differentiation should be good at distinguish the actual situation when curing and should be changed. 4. Vertigo of the seven identified, such as the exogenous evil. 5.
