ObjectiveThrough epidemiological studies, the study is looking for the risk factros of Chronic Venous Insufficiency of the lower limbs, summarized and clearly associated risk factors, in order to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of disease. And through the survey of four diagnostic information、the survey of emotional factors, to explore the possibility TCM patterns and to explore the emotional factors of Chronic Venous Insufficiency. and summarized the possible syndromes, in order to further improve and provide a scientific basis for the traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsIt is a case-control study, collected110cases of patients with Chronic Venous Disease (CVD) from GuangZhou Hospital of Taditional Chinese Medicine between March1,2013to December31,2013who were diagnosed were used as the case group.And110cases who didn’t had CVD in the same period were served as the control group. After obtaining informed consent by the patient, collected the case information by three self-questionnaires. After finishing the collected information, a database was established. Input the data to SPSS17.0to statistical analysis. Logistic regression analysis and Cluster analysis were used to statistical analysis.Summarized the TCM syndrome gype, and comprehensive analysis of the high risk factors for the influence of the sentiments.ResultsThe results of Multivariate Logistic regression analysis suggest that prolonged walking or standing, history of trauma, physical labor, family history, drinking, easy mood swings, work load, chronic constipation, pregnancy, a history of deep vein thrombosis are the risk factors of CVD. Cluster analysis was used to summarize the four diagnostic of the patient group, results suggest that the syndrome type of TCM can be summarized as damp, blood stasis, blood deficiency and qi stagnation. The emotional survey suggested that the emotional factors such as "anger","fear","thinking" have an important influence in the development process of the disease.ConclusionThe study identified the risk factors associated with Chronic Venous Disease, results suggest that prolonged walking or standing, history of trauma, physical labor and so on are the risk factors of CVD, but with the change of our lifestyle and diet structure, some new risk factors such as regular alcohol consumption, easy mood swings are found, but the current literature rarely reported, it should be paid attention. After cluster analysis, summed up four types of TCM, including heat bet, blood stasis, Qi-blood deficiency, liver Qi stagnation, and qi stagnation syndrome is rarely reported, but often can be found in patients, the emotional survey results also suggest the relationship between emotions and CVD, it should be paid attention by the clinicians.
