ObjectiveTo observe the clinic effects in treating ischemic stroke hemiplegia with the theory of the left rising-right descending acupuncture and provide a theoretical and clinical basis for further clinical promotion.Methods70cases met the diagnostic criteria of the clinical study were randomly divided into a traditional acupuncture group of35patients, using traditional acupuncture treatment, and the left rising-right descending acupuncture group of35patients, using the left rising-right descending acupuncture treatment. The two groups were measured with stroke clinical scale for neurological function evaluation (1995) and Barthel Index (B1) for Activities of daily independence before and after the course treatment. After3courses, the two groups were compared with each observation index before and after treatment.Results1. Compared with the assessment of two groups of pationts before the treatment, The difference of China stroke clinical scale for neurological function evaluation (1995) and Barthel Index (Bl) had significant difference statistical significance (P<0.05)after the treatment.2. The total effective rate was97.14%in left rising-right descending acupuncture group and82.85%in the traditional acupuncture group. The difference was significant difference statistical significance(P<0.05).In the left rising-right descending acupuncture group, the reduction rate of neurological deficit score and the degree of disability were significantly different compared with the traditional acupuncture group (P<0.05);the clinical effect of left rising-right descending acupuncture was better than that of the traditional acupuncture group (P<0.05).Conclusion The left rising-right descending acupuncture had more advantages in the treatment of ischmic stroke hemiplegia, improving neurological function and activities of daily living than that of traditional acupuncture treatment.
