Object:1.To observe the effect of Chahu Shugan Powder on the expression of Liver X receptor in the rats with metabolic syndrome (MetS) of liver qi stagnation.2. Study the relativity of the LXR mRNA, the expression of the downstream protein ANGPTL3and the TCM syndrome differentiation of Metabolic syndrome.Methods:1.40spontaneous hypertension rats(SHR) were randomized to4groups, the high fat diet with drug intervention group(FI), the high fat diet control group(FC), normal diet with drug intervention group(NI) and the normal diet control group (NC). The liver qi stagnation MetS animals’model was established by high fat feeding and restraint emotional stimulation. The biochemical index, including the cholesterol(TC)、triglyceride(TG)、low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)、high density lipoprotein(HDL-C)、fasting blood glucose (FBG)、fasting insulin(FIN)and the HOMA-IR index, and the expression of LXR mRNA of rats in different groups were accessed and compared before and after the drug intervention.2.62patients were divided into the liver qi stagnation Group and the none liver qi stagnation group, according to their TCM syndrome differentiation. The measurement of the height, weight, waistline, hips line, Blood pressure and expression was implemented in order to observe the the relativity of indexes and the TCM syndrome differentiation of Metabolic syndrome.Result:1.The TC, LDL-C and HOMA-IR level of the FI rats was descended compared to the FC group (P<0.05) after intervention. The expression of LXR α mRNA are different after intervention in FI and FC (P<0.05)2. The differenence of duration, TG and the expression of ANGPTL3between the liver qi stagnation group and none is liver qi stagnation group is significant (P<0.05)Conelusion: 1.The Chahu Shugan Powder can improve the liver qi stagnation MetS rats’ blood glucose and lipid. The mechanism may have relation to the regulation of the LXR α mRNA expression, which can improve the insulin resistance.2. The higher expression of liver qi stagnation group of the ANGPTL3protein compared to the none liver qi stagnation group suggested the ANGPTL3protein have connection with early pathophysiologic change of the Metabolic Syndrome, and this regulation is related to the dynamic change of the LXRs.
