| Background&ObjectiveMeasles, rubella and mumps are three common kinds of acute respiratory communicable diseases. They are highly contagious and often outbreak in populous places. With the implementation of national immunization programme activities and Expanded programme on immunization(EPI), the incidence and mortality of meals had ever evidently descended and many countries are stepping into the stage to eliminate it. It will be the third disease to be eradicated following smallpox and polio. The immunization prevention for rubella and mumps were later,compared to that of the measles. Although some nations have successfully gotten rid of the two diseases, they are still out of control in many countries, especially in the developing countries. Measles, mumps and rubella have similar characteristics of pathogeny,immunity and epidemiology, and World Health Organization (WHO) recommends to control them at the same time with measles-mumps-rubella vaccine(MMR). The birth of Beijing MMRvaccine symbolized that China has already had own MMR vaccine. This article analyzed the epidemiological characteristics of measles, rubella and mumps and the antibody levels of the three diseases of a part of healthy people in XiQing of2012, to understand the immunity. So as to provide evidence for eliminate measles and control rubella and mumps.Materials&MethodsCase data was obtained from China information system for diseases control and prevention. Population data was obtained from the Public Securty Bureau. Use stratified sampling, collect360samples of healthy individuals. Measle IgG antibody in sera was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The360samples were from0to44years old, and divided into12groups:<8months,8months~,18months~,3years old~,5years old~,10years old~,15years old~,20years old~,25years old~,30years old~,35years old~and40years old~. There are30samples in every group. At the same time, in addition respectively collect210samples of healthy individuals. Mumps and rubella antibody in sera were detected by ELISA. The210samples were from0to24years old, and divided into7 groups:<18months,18months~,3years old~,5years old~,10years old~,15years old-,20years old-.There are30samples in every group.Results1ã€Measles epidemiological characteristics and antibody levelReported cases of measles totaled up to714between2004and2013,no death occurred. The average incidence rate was14.8per100000annually. The highest and lowest incidence rates were35.39per100000in2008and0.29per100000in2011, respectively, which has increased again since2011. The incidence presented the visible seasonal variation as the majority of cases occurred during March and June.The high-prevalence ages was<8months old.There are360people were investigated to monitor the immunity level. The results showed that the total measles IgG antibody positive rate was20%-100%, the average rate was89.4%, the average antibody consistency was1641.5mIU/ml. The man’s antibody positive rate was89.4%, average antibody consistency was1748mlU/ml. The women’s antibody positive rate was89.5%, average antibody consistency was1535mIU/ml. The different of gender can not impact the antibody level. To compare different age group, The lowest antibody positive rate was the group<8months(20%), the other groups were88.3%~100%. The group8-months and the group18months~(18months~and3~get together) have the highest antibody consistency(2966.4mIU/ml and2466mIU/ml, P>0.05), the group<18months has the lowest antibody consistency(383.31mIU/ml). To compare different dose, the different of antibody positive rate between0dose and1dose have statistics significant(χ2=53.507,P<0.05), the different of antibody consistency between0dose and1dose,1dose and2dose have statistics significant.2ã€Rubella antibody levelReported cases of measles totaled up to1162between2004and2013,no death occurred. The average incidence rate was22.95per100000annually. The highest and lowest incidence rates were111.77per100000in2008and1.31per100000in2004. The incidence presented the visible seasonal variation as the majority of cases occurred during April and June. The high-prevalence ages was10~years old(10~and15~get together). There are210people were investigated to monitor the immunity level. The results showed that the total rubella IgG antibody positive rate was23.3%~100%, the average rate was79.5%, the average antibody consistency was85.045mIU/ml. The man’s antibody positive rate was80.2%, average antibody consistency was83.08mIU/ml. The women’s antibody positive rate was78.9%, average antibody consistency was87.01mIU/ml. The different of gender can not impact the antibody level. To compare different age group, the group<18months has the lowest antibody positive rate and the lowest antibody consistency(23.3%and13.5mIU/ml), the other groups’antibody positive rate were86.7%-91.7%, antibody consistency were74.14mIU/ml~106.46mIU/ml. To compare different dose, the different of antibody positive rate between0dose and1dose have statistics significant(χ2=47.446, P<0.05), the different of antibody consistency between every different dose have statistics significant.3ã€Mumps antibody levelReported cases of measles totaled up to1706between2004and2013, no death occurred. The average incidence rate was35.68per100000annually. The highest and lowest incidence rates were51.54per100000in2008and15.34per100000in2011. The high-prevalence ages was10~years old.There are210people were investigated to monitor the immunity level. The results showed that the total mumps IgG antibody positive rate was20%-100%, the average rate was81.9%, the average antibody consistency was420.855mIU/ml. The man’s antibody positive rate was75.2%, average antibody consistency was478.95mIU/ml. The women’s antibody positive rate was78.9%, average antibody consistency was423.76mIU/ml. The different of gender also can not impact the antibody level. To compare different age group, the group<18months has the lowest antibody positive rate and the lowest antibody consistency(20%and67mIU/ml), the other groups’ antibody positive rate were80%-93.3%, antibody consistency were383.21mlU/ml-615.36mIU/ml. To compare different dose,the different of antibody positive rate and consistency between every different dose has statistics significant.ConclusionsRecently,although measles, rubella and mumps in this area have no outbreak, the incidence rate can’t get good control. The antibody levels of measles, rubella and mumps are relatively slightly lower. The meales antibody level of under8months old children and children under18months rubella and mumps antibody levels are very lower, so they are focus of prevention and control populations. |
