Clinical Study On Post-stroke Dysphagia In The Stage Of Convalescence Treatmented With Electro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen"

ObjectiveTo study on the clinical effect of Electro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen" in the treatment of Post-stroke Dysphagia in the stage of convalescence. According to the effect, we can promote this treatment to all the patients, in order to improve the life quality of the patients and facilitate the improvement of the disease.MethodsAccording to the patients course of disease,60cases collected were randomly divided into two group:treatment group and contrast group. Both the two groups of patients accept the basic treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine、acupuncture、Western medicine. The treatment group accept the treatment of Electro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen", the contrast group accept the treatment of basic acupuncture. Basic Western medicine includes control blood pressure and blood glucose, anti-platelet aggregation, brain protection, improving circulation, trophic nerve, clean free radical, prevent infection and symptomatic treatment. Basic Traditional Chinese medicine is drinking Traditional Chinese medicine, according to the book《Internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine》, Post-stroke is divided into5types: over-strong liver Yang, wind phlegm obstruction collaterals, phlegm heat relieving excess, weak of blood and qi, wind formation from yin deficiency. According to the type, give patients different traditional Chinese medicine: Huatan Tongluo drink、Buyang Huanwu drink. According to the book of 《Acupuncture and massage》, the basic acupuncture points are niesanzhen、 jiansanzhen、shousanli、zusanli and so on. Ver-strong liver Yang:taichong, taixi; wind phlegm obstruction collaterals:fenglong, hegu; phlegm heat relieving excess:quchi, neiting, fenglong; weak of blood and qi:qihai, xuehai; wind formation from yin deficiency:taixi, fengchi; All patients were treated2weeks. Before and after the treatment, the records of two groups of patients with Water swallow test, grading of swallowing disorder degree, function independent measure (FIM), modified Barthel index evaluation(MBI) used for statistical analysis and evaluation of clinical efficacy.ResultElectro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen" in the treatment of Post-stroke Dysphagia in the stage of convalescence. The treatment group can improve Water swallow test, grading of swallowing disorder degree, function independent measure (FIM), modified Barthel index evaluation (MBI), before and after the treatment, P<0.05by statistical analysis. It prove that Electro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen" has a good effect. Between the two groups, Water swallow test, grading of swallowing disorder degree, differences in scores for treatment group and contrast group, P<0.05, the difference is significant, the treatment group is better than the contrast group. Modified Barthel index evaluation (MBI), differences in scores for treatment group and contrast group, P=0.053>0.05. Function independent measure (FIM), differences in scores for treatment group and contrast group, P=0.043<0.05. Considering the error and the deficiency of sample, Modified Barthel index evaluation (MBI) and Function independent measure (FIM), the differences in scores for treatment group and contrast group was thought not significant. According to the effect, Electro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen" has something pertinence, the treatment group is better than the contrast group.ConclusionElectro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen" has a good effect in treating patients of Post-stroke Dysphagia, it can improve the patients’life quality, and it is simple、safe and no side effect. As a result, Electro-acupuncture "She Sanzhen" should be promote to all the patients of Post-stroke Dysphagia.
