Clinical Observation Of Capsule Combined With Paroxetine On The Treatment Of Anxiety Insomnia

Object i veTo observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Wuling capsule combined with paroxetine in the treatment of anxiety insomnia.MethodsA total of48patients with anxiety insomnia were randomly assigned to two groups for8weeks treatment. Treatment group (n=24) received combination of Wuling capsule and paroxetine, the control group (n=24) received single drug of paroxetine. The curative effect were evaluated by the HAMA and PSQI at the baseline and1,2,4and8week after treatment.ResultsAt the eighth weeks after treatment, there was significant difference between the two groups in the scores of HAMA (P<0.05). Since the first four weeks after treatment, there was significant difference between the two groups in the scores of PSQI (P<0.05). The total effective rate in treatment group is95.83%and that of control group was62.50%(PSQI score as the standard), there was significant difference between two groups(P<0.01). There was significant difference between the two groups in the quantity of the adverse reaction(P<0.05).ConclusionThe efficacy of Wuling capsule combined with paroxetine on the treatment ofdepression is better than that of paroxetine alone and the treatment is high safety.
