The Study Of Correlation Between Schizophrenics SHTP Test And BPRS

ObjectiveThis paper aim to explore the characteristics and evaluation index of schizophrenia patients in the test, Compared to the healthy people on House-Tree-Person (HTP) test. And try to explain the characteristics of HTP, explore the psychological causes of schizophrenia. According to correlation research results between HTP test and brief psychiatric scale (BPRS), to explore whether HTP test can be used as a clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia auxiliary tool.MethodsIntegrated use of:(1) literature research:access to relevant literature in CNKI database (1979-2013) and the Pub Med database, to understand domestic HTP test research survey;(2) the questionnaire:using the brief psychiatric scale (BPRS) to measure patients pf experimental group;(3) HTP drawing test and analysis;(4) statistical method:establishing a database, use chi-square test and correlation analysis for statistic test.ResultsThe results shows:(1) the whole painting, patients with schizophrenia in painting the picture is very small, and the picture content, monotonous mechanical things line is thin, rigid, picture line painted features repeatedly scored significantly higher than that of normal people (P<0.01), in the sun, the scene atmosphere and peaceful characteristics on score was significantly lower than normal group (P<0.05);(2) in the house painting, patients with schizophrenia in the house is small, the deformation or distortion, the door closed, wall light skew lines feature score is significantly higher than normal group (P<0.01), the roof is decorated, the flat-topped house, the Windows open, the door has a road feature score was significantly lower than normal group (P<0.05);(3) in the trees, painting schizophrenia patients in the trees, like flowers or trees, trees, small, tree roots without modification, no horizon, mild trunk scores describe characteristics were significantly higher than that of normal people (P<0.05), there are flowers and plants under the tree, the trunk is very long, draw the paper outside, the tree canopy characteristics have fruit or flowers on the score was significantly lower than that of normal people (P<0.05);(4) in the aspect of figure painting, patients with schizophrenia in deformation, painting line is intermittent short, big head, with random draw a circle of hair, eyes, mouth open, neutral or wooden, expression and not do things, to draw their fingers, fingers are pointed and leg very fine characteristics on score was significantly higher than that of normal people (P<0.05), and the painting lines painted, moderately head portrait, repeatedly expression happy peace, scores in moderate describe characteristics were significantly lower than normal group (P<0.05).(5) characteristics of small picture, small tree, open mouth are significantly correlated with the score of anxiety and depression factor in BPRS (P<0.05);(6) characteristics of light arrangement, happy and peaceful atmosphere, simple or short line,open window, light wall, trees look like flowers and plants, small trees, small painting are significantly correlated with the score of lack of energy factor in BPRS(P<0.05);(7) characteristics of no horizon, big head, drawing the hair in disorderly line are significantly correlated with the score of thinking disorder factor in BPRS (P<0.05);(8) characteristics of lines painted repeatedly, deformation, big head are significantly correlated with the score of activation factor (P<0.05);(9) characteristics of open mouth, pointed fingers are significantly correlated with the score of hostile and suspicion factor in BPRS(P<0.05).Coneclusion(1)The HTP works of schizophrenia patients are significantly different from the ones of healthy people in overall features, houses, trees and figures;(2) the HTP can test from mood, thinking, self-awareness, interpersonal perception, attitudes, and other aspects and angles to reflect the patient’s psychological traits, reveals the psychological factors of the onset of schizophrenia and(3)Some features of HTP are consistent with the scores of BPRS factors. But whether the HTP can be used for clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia is still to be further studied.
