Objective:1. Study the character of the cognitiveimpairment and P300parameter of patients withcolorectal cancer after chemotherapy.2. Further research the difference of cognitive function between different chemotherapyregimens(XELOX and FOLOX regimen).3. Research the correlation of neuropsychological test and P300.4. To investigate the status of depression, anxiety, fatigue, sleep quality in colorectal caneerpatients with after chemotherapy, and explore the correlation with the cognitive functionand P300.Methods:98patients with colorectal cancer were subdivided into xelox regimen group and FOLOXregimen group and40healthy controls were administered with P300and aneuropsychological test for cognition, including Winsconsin card sorting test, Trail makingtest and Verbal fluency test, et al. before and after chemotherapy. and study the correlationof neuropsychological test and P300.The anxiety, depression, fatigue, sleep quality of98patients with colorectal cancer receiving chemotherapy were measured by SDS and SAS,Muhidimensional Fatigue Invenioty and Pittsburgh SleeP Quality Index. This part ofstudy used descriptive and relevant design.Results:1.Compared with healthy, controls patients with colorectal cancer hasn’t obvious difference except of association of learning before chemotherapy in the results of neuropsychologicaltasks2.After chemotherapy, patients with colorectal cancer showed significant difference in eachtargets of cognitive function, such as symbol digit modalities test(SDMT),,verbal fluencytest(VFT),,digit span(DS), TMT-A,VF,total trails of WCST (P<0.05);3.The results of neuropsychological tasks of patients with colorectal cancer afterchemotherapy hasn’t obvious difference between different chemotherapy regimens(XELOX and FOLOX regimen).4.The latency of N3、P3of P300was significantly longer, the amplitude of P300wassignificantly lower(P<0.05).5.The changes of P3PL and P3bAmp were correlated with each targets of cognitive test.6. The percent of depression and anxiety patients after chemotherapy were53.06%and57.14%.The average score of fatigue was66.87±13.39.72patients(73.47%) were poorsleepers. There was a statistically significant correlation between depression, anxiety, fatigue, sleep quality with the cognitive function and P300in the colorectal cancer patientsreceiving chemotherapy.Conclusions:1. After chemotherapy, the cognitive function of patients with colorectal cancer afterchemotherapy had obvious impairment in attention、memory、executive functions..2. There was no markedly difference in cognitive impairment between differentchemotherapy regimens(XELOX and FOLOX regimen)3.P300and cognitive test has fine correlation. P300can be used as a biological marker ofscreening cognitive impairment for the patients with colorectal cancer after chemotherapy.4. There was a statistically significant correlation between depression, anxiety, fatigue, sleep quality with the cognitive function and P300in the colorectal cancer patientsreceiving chemotherapy. The depression, anxiety, fatigue, sleep quality maybe effected cognitive function and P300in the patients with colorectal cancer after chemotherapy.
