The Study Of The Epidemiological Characteristics And Related Risk Factor Of Hiv Among People Fifty Years-old Or Older In Yuxi City, Yunnan Province

Objective:To understand the Epidemiological Characteristics and Risk Factor of HIV Among People Fifty Years or Older in Yuxi city Yunnan Province, and provide a scientific basis for the further development of the implementation of the measures to containment the epidemic of HIV.Methods:We got the information of HIV/AIDS epidemic from the surveillance system of AIDS of Fifty Years or Older people in Yuxi, Yunnan, As end of2011. Comprehensived analysis of the epidemiological characteristics and AIDS deaths of Yuxi City Fifty Years or Older.The ML-PA HIV-1recent infection testing was used among newly reported HIV/AIDS cases, and compared with the proportion of HIV-1recent infection between above the Fifty Years or Older and less than Fifty in Yuxi prefecture from2006to2011. HIV risk factors were investigated retrospectively their infection by using census method Fifty Years or Older people in Yuxi. Using a stratified random sampling to extract HIV/AIDS of Fifty Years or Older people’s knowledge, attitudes, behavior of AIDS in4communities.,Epidata was used to input datum,and double check was use to test the quality of data. And data analyzed by SPSS17.0.Results:(1) The AIDS epidemics of Fifty Years or Older is severances in Yuxi, The heterosexual of HIV infection as a major route of transmission of this group. From1995to2011, there had196HIV/AIDS among the Fifty Years or Older peple, and accounts for6.1%among the all new reports HIV/AIDS. The average year is60.4±8.3years, and The male to female is2.6:1.The heterosexual of HIV/AIDS is accounts for91.8%. The most of Fifty Years or Older cases of HIV/AIDS were from medical institution, from2002and2003to2010and2011, The proportion of elderly among heterosexual of HIV/AIDS the accounts for13.04%and0.00%to15.73and17.93%. ML-PA HIV-1recent infection testing show that:The proportion of less than Fifty years was3.28%(95%CI:2.48-4.08%) and Fifty Years or Older was (1.54%,95%CI:0.61-3.51%). Reported196cases Fifty Years or Older HIV/AIDS cases and56deaths (28.6%) among1995-2011,in Yuxi. Mainly Death was heterosexual route of infection (29.4%). Then reported that death was53.6%, the median survival age of only0.0(0.0,1.0).(2)Prevalence of unsafe sexual behavior is main reason of the HIV epidemic among Fifty Years or Older. In103Investigation objects, there is blood donors history (1.9%), blood transfusion/blood products history behavior (9.7%), IDU (1.0%), MSM (3.9%), and59had high risk sexual behavior(57.3%), and43never used condoms during risk sexual behaviors(72.9%).(3) The main risk factors for HIV infection were not using condoms occurred heterosexual commercial sex and heterosexual non-commercial sex in HIV/AIDS of Fifty Years or Older male.56cases of males occurred heterosexual commercial sex (67.6%), never use condoms (76.1%);14male cases occurred in heterosexual noncommercial behavior(20.6%), never use condoms (85.7%); average heterosexual Business partner4(2,10)people, the average heterosexual, non-commercial, non-spousal sexual partners2(2,3) people.(4) The main risk factors for HIV infection were sex with HIV-positive spouses and unused condoms in HIV/AIDS of Fifty Years or Older female.35cases of females,22were spouses of HIV-positive, accounting for62.9%.91.4%were never used condoms to in HIV-infected spouse had found before,8.6%for the occasionally use of a condom,0.0%use a condom every time. In after HIV infection,60.0%of female finish sexual life with spouses,40.0%of female Insist on sex with spouses, and57.1%never used condoms,42.9%occasional use,0.0percent each time used.(5) Community Survey shows that:Fifty Years or Older the prevalence of sexual activity, low knowledge about AIDS and affected by many factors. Fifty Years or Older in Community, the knowledge of AIDS was34.7%, VCT was maximum (53.3%), followed by urban and rural residents was46.2%,25.6%. Logistics regression analysis shows that:the risk of AIDS knowledge was Age, Marital status, Education.Conclusion:The AIDS epidemics of Fifty Years or Older are severances in Yuxi, The heterosexual of HIV infection as a major route of transmission of this group. The risk factors of HIV infection in different between males and females, male main HIV infection risk was unused condom commercial sex behavior; female main HIV infection risk was not found former spouse is HIV-positive, and happened unused condom sex.
